Nobler	Posted - 2006.02.07 13:29:00 - [1] I was out killing rats in 0.5 space yesterday. I blew up a frigate and it dropped a Tech 2 implant! Very nice it's worth 40 mill on the market.... So thanks for improving the loot drops, little suprises like that keep me playing the game...

Ankanos	Posted - 2006.02.08 10:40:00 - [20] i looted a low grade alpha something off of a 60 or 80k condor i think it was, about a week ago. in .6 i think i saw a buy for like 12mil for it, i forget. might have been less. was a +2 perc + some bonuses, shield maybe, iirc. i've seen some 80k+ merlins whilst tracking a macro hauler in citadel too. so they're out there. -ank ---
Glassback	Posted - 2006.02.08 10:44:00 - [21] For 0.0 ratting this is my experience. When you scan a systems of belts before warping to those belts, the rats dont show. Therefore, the spawn is activated when you get to the belt. Therefore, the more belts you warp to the higher the chance a named spawn will be found. So.. I find a string of very quiet, out of the way systems and check each belt in turn (killing the BS if I want the isk straight away). Keep doing this and your chances of finding good loot will be as high as possible. G. I've got an idea--an idea so smart that my head would explode if I even began to know what I'm talking about

Level 1 agent kill mission. I can't even recall what the mission was, but it was a very basic "kill these naughty pirates" one. I got a few waves of Guristas, then I'm like "ooh, so what's a Dread Guristas then?" I blew it up with my Merlin, almost as effortlessly as I did everything else, ambled over to the can and pulled out a Low Grade Crystal Omega....Now, at the time, I didn't even know without looking at it that this was even an implant. So, I looked up the market details. Average price: 139 Million. Oh, my. Double check. Tripple check... So, I sold it for 130 Million, taking my overall bank balance to 130,013,000 ISK. I know I was amazingly lucky, and I'm thankful for it, but it's also taken a bit of the "magic" out of working my way up the early ships and equipment, and every loot drop is a disapointment now. Ok, not entirely true, but I know I have had my day, and I had it early. Still, would I give the money away? Well.....NO! Hahaha.
