Hi all,
Just wondering if the above is how a micro auxilliary power corp would work if you used 2 of them? It is 10x the power output for 1 and hence a second would get you to 100x? I am trying to figure how to put the largest single gun possible into my high slots for maximum alpha strike damage from my frigate.

It gives you a +10, not a x10
It adds to your frig's base powergrid before skills.

MAPC work by giving you 10 power grid
so 1 =+10
2=20 pg

Each MAC is + 10 pg not a percentage.

Hmmm, 10 is nothing, even 20 is nothing. How in the heck did I read someone thought putting 2 of these things on board would let you load on a 400mm+ caliber gun. Was in a thread on maximizing alpha damage from a stealth bomber that said to look at fitting 2 mapc to then fill the turret slots with heavy duty guns rather than the standard pea shooters you could get in there without a mapc.

Because Stealth bombers get massive powergrid reductions on Cruise missile launchers.

So it looks like 2 280mm howitzers is about as good as it could get in addition to 2 cruises. With the accuracy falloff you would need to be getting close to 20km from target. Boy, that would be tense. At that distance, no need for sensor boosters. Decloak, fire 2 cruises and 2 280s, cloak, run!
This assumes you can get it all running. Taking out the sensor boosters and putting in shield hardeners might be very wise.

With the right ammo you can get the op range of 280's well over 30km. Alot less to worry about.

You get more than 10, you get 10*(1+0.05*engeneering skill) so at level 5 engineering they give 12.5 each.
