You lose up to 5% of the SP off the top of your highest skill. If that number is higher than the amount you have uncovered by the clone, you only lose the uncovered SP AFAIK.

Ah. "Currently training: Reading Comprehension to Level 1" Anyway, if he means combat skills, then probably never.
So all those memory drone skills aren't for combat?
Wait, you mean I'm supposed to mine with these tech 2 heavy drones?
It is going off topic, but what I mean is that there's a limit to when Drone skills which is reached quite a lot faster than Gunnery, Spaceship Command, and Missiles. Also, drones are Mem/Perc.
What I'd really want is a few of the Electronic or Engineering skills to be Mem/Int. But this is coming from someone who's been training Perc/Will skills, on a char with 5 base perc, for nearly two years straight. This just to keep my combat skills honed.
dont touch my int/mem skills

Originally by: Minodus I got ganked during an alliance war in a 1.0 system and Im now 6 days behind on astro V .... 6 DAYS :( Is it me or is this a little harsh for forgetting to clone? A nice little reminder saying "We are going to penalise you excessively as you have left the station without setting up a new clone" would have been nice.
Oh noes, six days, like less than a week. So, with the 13th taken up with buying your girl pressies, the 14th getting your reward for being a good boy and the 15th spent recovering, then its like 3 days. Save the Ubar asteroids

alot of people who don't PvP don't realize, when they get killed and podded, their clone gets used. You have to buy another clone.
So say you had 3 million SP, and a 6 million SP clone. You get killed and podded. Your sp are safe, but you now have 3 Million SP, and no clone, until you buy another.
And I agree, it happens to everyone. Once. Afterwards, when you get podded, the first thing you click on is the clone facilities

I always make sure that my clone is up to date. You never know when you will need it unless you inhabit 1.0 forever more. The only thing I regretted in this nature was insurance on my Phrophecy. Don't let that lapse either.

Once? How about NEVER for anybody with any common sense. EVERY TIME I get podded, it's "Wake up in cloning vat, BOOM click the button to buy a new one". -------------------------------------[04:04:04] Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk

Not as bad as losing BS 5, but I lost an advanced learning skill that was lvl 5. I had just barely gone over the SP that my current clone covered. Was the first time I had ever been podded, and up to that point I had been very careful. That's Murphy's law for ya.
