Zyck	Posted - 2006.02.13 02:48:00 - [1] I've been playing a lot of Dawn of War: Winter Assault lately (great real time strategy games imo) and have been needing people to play with. Finding random people in the room is great, but playing with not so random people is better I think. So, in short, anyone play? Hell, while we're at it, can't we throw Lost and the Damned in there as well??? Dunno about you guys, but I haven't touched my tabletop stuff in about a year because of Eve and DoW.

Destiny Defined	Posted - 2006.02.13 19:51:00 - [17] Space marines 4tw... A talented space marine player is undefeatable... They are overpowered i tell ye! nerf marines!! Its the tactical squads that make them what they are... around 5-6 full squads with a nice variation of weapons is just deadly. With a land raider or two for heavy suport and transport... Anyway that was my old setup. Ive now found out how to best use them They are best for suprise attacks... Terminators that can just appear right on top of unints and rip anything to peices. Start a battlle with a solid battle line of marines.. a predator or two and a librarian or other special character for moral... Get the enemy concentrating with that, then throw in the terminators... and watch them flee like girls -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lifes a waste of time .... and times a waste of life........ So get wasted all the time and have the time of you

I want tyrannids also though Scuttle is that it's going to be the Tau in the next pack, even though the Necrons showed in the campaign. On another note... For my money it will be Tau and Necrons in the next run. Relic has come out and flat out said they will never put Tyranids in the game. According to them "the Dawn of War engine could never do them justice"... dunnot what that means as they have not elaborated, but my guess is the sheer number of units you could field would make the game choke and die. EDIT: PS.... the Tau are a definite already (already announced), but there will be 2 new races. Click here to check out my siggy designs!

Illegal for tournament play. Only thing on board on first turn is command squad, then entire rest of army falls from the sky in the middle of yours, dreads included... Come back to life? I like ignore fatal wound 4+ unless wounding weapon is double their toughness. Anyways, yeah DoW is an awesome game, and the first to do the 40k universe justice.
