This is an idea I have had for quite some time, finally decided to commit and see where it goes.
Service Introduction:
The idea for the service is simple: I am a career trader of characters, and as such I browse the Bazaar very regularly. Over the years I have helped a select few clients and friends to buy or sell characters by proxy, making sure they enter and exit the market properly, find the characters and/or prices they actually want, and aren't being taken advantage of.
I would like to extend this same service to the public, offering you as a buyer or seller the best possible chance to find the price you need or the exact character you want in a timely fashion amidst the chaos that is the Bazaar.
Service Outline:
I have many (4+) years of experience buying and selling characters, and should you agree to work with me, I will begin by asking that we discuss the precise terms of your ideal sale or purchase so that I may set out on your behalf and look for possible matches to your requested criteria. If a possible match is found, I can either bid on your behalf, accept a bid on your behalf, or simply notify you when I've identified a possible match, whatever we deem is the best for your situation.
Note: In any event, there are certain standards set out by the Bazaar rules that dictate payments and certain policies must be followed by the character being sold, or the person purchasing. My service will always adhere 100% to CCP rules, and you are not in any risk of scam or potential exploit by using my service, in fact I am here specifically to further reduce your chances of encountering either of those problems.

I too send 20b to some random pseudo intellectual-tumor shaped fuckhead to buy me a character because I'm incapable of making my own decisions without having my hand held. OP was really polite and gratuitous when telling me how to buy her characters using my own isk!
Would definitely recommend if incapable of sentient thought, decision making and general day-to-day living!

I'm really happy you're doing so well for yourself and you've achieved so much in this short space of time. I do find it unlikely you were trusted with such large sums of isk (and why you were trusted with said sums) so I'd like a bit of an insight into that if you wouldn't mind OP.
I'm sure you're doing a great service and aren't profiteering by misleading the general public at all, and am really glad you're taking time out to do all of this at absolutely no cost.

I would consider this post as a sincere EvE citizen concerned about the wellbeing of the community if you weren't the one bragging left and right how you make a killing buying and selling toons.
Provided that all scams regarding characters are not allowed, I can see how the source can be trusted. It just makes the character re-sale ripoff business much harder when people know what the characters go for, doesn't it? :) |

I can confirm that I was trusted recently with a decent sum of Isk, however in the air of professionalism I don't think it is right to disclose what that sum was for, as that is up to my client to decide if he would like that information made public. Trooper and I have become friends through his requests and seeking guidance on character buying, I did him a favor to help him maximize his buying power and it required that he trust me with a lump sum. Just take a good reference at face value is sometimes the best policy, he is not my alt or affiliated with me previously as I'm sure he would be happy to attest to, he is just a genuine dude seeking genuine help, which I'm always happy to provide.
Reasons why I run an excellent service appraising characters and helping people buy or sell:
1) I am a stand up individual, and I like to see other people make profit, and in turn enjoy the game to a greater degree.
2) I enjoy the game most when I am helping other people, and sharing knowledge about areas that I am well versed in.
3) I am browsing the Bazaar daily regardless, so adding clients and giving appraisals is really not that hard to add on, these services have excellent synergy because they each strengthen my network between clients, making individual sales easier.
You are looking for a hole in my plot, or some way in which I will turn this eventually into a scam I'm sure so let me help ease your mind a little bit: scams aren't profitable, or possible in this area of the game, verbatim. I am a business minded individual with a passion for this game, and I want something that is long term and profitable. As stated in the OP (it's no secret), I will eventually look to turn this business I have going into a subscription based or fee based service that will offer people a much quicker sell or purchase, at a better price than they would have got by listing it or finding it themselves.
Think of me as a Realtor for characters, and to build reputation, trust, and respect from the community I'm on a hunt for likes and positive feedback to kick things off. You don't need to seek deeply for a motive, it's right there in front of you included in the OP, I'm just a legit nice guy with a ton of experience trading characters. Feel free to use my service or not, if you would prefer that!

So to be clear you are just a broker, I dont have to transfer the characters to or from you to do business with you? You will put in the leg work to maximize the the sale price and minimize the purchase price of a toon.
Do you also keep a list of special interest toons to match with buyers later?

That is exactly correct.
In the future I will charge isk for this service, but for now it's actually free too!
