Haven't they already asked you several times?
To make the information public to all? No.
No they haven't.
Now shut up.
Originally by: Shemar
And sorry Nooey but "As stated above we do have the information", but "unless we get a petition signed in triplicate by every single U'K member we won't display it publicly, but honestly we do have it, seriously, would we do all this if we didn't"?
What a joke...
Signed in triplicate?
Spin it all you want, we made a no-strings-attached offer to provide the the evidence publicly.
Originally by: Shemar
And what's up with all the insults?
Like what? You're ignorant? You are. You're spinning my words and ignoring others.
I said: "Show me where I refused to provide proof publically", I said, "Show it concisely and unambiguously" and you fabricated some "signed in triplicate" trash which bears only the tiniest resemblance to what I actually said.
You are the one who is doing the insulting here. Not me.
Originally by: Shemar Are you that desperate? How about some answers instead? Real answers.
The only desperate one here is you. Either provide some kind of proof to back your claim that Omerta will not publically provide evidence or go away. This plea for "real answers" is just more pathetic spin, I have been here answering for a long time now, and I have not avoided a single question.
Originally by: Shemar If you do have real information why not make it public?
Already explained why. I know you just love to meddle, but it is simply not your place to ask for it to be made public. So step back down and let those involved deal with this.
Originally by: Shemar Surely if the information is reliable enough to declare war on, it should be made public, for all to see the perpetrator's guilt?
Again, already explained why. Do I need to repeat it for you? It was out of respect and a percieved desire for discretion on behalf of Ushra'Khan that we have not made the information public. If they so desire, we will make arrangements for it to be - they need only to say the word and we will begin to do so. Since I made the offer, there has not been a definitive request for that to happen, apart from the one from you.
And you have absoloutley nothing to do with this affair, whatsoever.
Any further communication from you will be ignored unless contained within, there is something definitive to back your ridiculous claims up. ____________

I trust you take my meaning and we can agree not to insult our respective organisations in ways that are straightforwardly false.
I have no comment on the Athule Snanm case except to note that there were intelligence failures and those functionaries in that department who could not tell the difference between one Amarrian paramilitary and another have been subject to extreme re-conditioning and neural re-factoring processes in my personal facilities. I believe the great man himself would have approved...

A. You need to work on your ignoring skills B. It seems the U'K did ask. Lets see if answers will be forthcoming, or if you go for A.

Firstly could I ask my brothers and sisters in Ushra'khan to calm a little. You must remain focused on the battle ahead. Do not let these unexpected accusations cloud your mind.
The Ushra'khan has nothing to discuss with Omerta Syndicate other than the terms of their surrender.
However we will say this to the people of Eve.
U'K has only been in existence since Concord allowed the operation of formal alliances. Under normal circumstances expecting U'K to be answerable for the actions of its members six years ago would be quite ridiculous, after all, we have brought pilots from all kinds of backgrounds to our fight for freedom.
However, intelligence reports have shown me that the attack on the Palermo Center was more than justified. If our pilots were involved then we will stand by them. In fact, I will be recommending an honour guard next time they dock at U'K headquarters. At the moment I have no such evidence.

You realize that this is a public summit, right? You're essentially standing on a street corner and spouting off your threats to U'K. People will stop and listen, and people with opinions will give them. You're free to ignore, of course... but so far, you've just come off as kind of shrill and condescending.

You seem a little more defensive than usual Khaldorn. Try not to antagonise things further by unleashing that venomous tongue of yours. It won't improve matters on either side.

Region: Heimatar Constellation: Sveipar System: Pator

Its early. Too early. Karn sits at a battered desk, head in hands, frowning over technical read-outs in front of him. A strong, thick, black coffee goes cold near his elbow.
Marcia lounges on the floor in front of him, idly browsing thru the GalNet feeds. She stops on one, reads, then stops again.
"Karn, bro ..."
"Wha ..." Karn barely ackowledges her through his headache.
"The Omerta have broadcast their reason for declaring war ..."
Hearing the word 'Omerta' Karn looks up, his full attention on Marcia.
"What's their reason then?" he asks.
Marcia chuckles, "well bro, apparently they suspect a member of the U'K of some crime done 6 years ago, and reckon that no one will respond to their communications."
"Are you serious? Chuck us that thing"
Karn reads the feed. He grunts, sits back in his chair and thinks for a moment. He reachs for his coffee and absently takes a sip.
Suddenly he moves into action, hitting his comm deck active.
To: Head of Engineering - double your workshifts. I want the fleet upgrades in place within 3 hrs. Pay particular attention to the gunnery mounts.
To: The Beh'hude - stand ready warriors, we face a foe from an un-expected quarter.
"I always thought Kyoko and her friends were all for freedom ... this will only distract from our real battle surely?" muses Karn.
"Dunno bro ... just take care will ya?" responds Marcia quietly.

The Insterstellar Trade Organization has collected and reviewed the data on this issue obtained from the GalNet channel. Upon looking into this, the ITO has declared its support to the Ushra'Khan, until the day that Omerta will make their information public for review by the ITO Board of Directors. Ushra'Khan, be expecting several deliveries of missiles and ammo. Anything else you need, let us know.

Originally by: Dantax As has already been echoed here, your claims lack evidence, and until such time that you give valid evidence, your aggression is no more than what has been claimed as Warmongering.
Our intelligence is our own and as such unavailable to you. However the information it is based on still exists and should you bother to investigate for yourself you will find that it is irrefutable.
And while it is true that the attack happened long before CONCORD permitted the formal and legal founding of alliances, Ushra'Khan was a significant force at the time in the same mould they are now in spirit if not in name. They apparently believed that a pre-emptive strike on a corporation that had shown them no previous hostilities or even contact was in some way right.
I have some respect for Ushra'Khan's ideals, and a great deal of respect for the abilities of its pilots. But I have absolutely none for their crusade against the Amarrians or their demonstrated capacity for mob hits on civilian staff.

"However, intelligence reports have shown me that the attack on the Palermo Center was more than justified."
What a lovely sentiment. Care to disclose the evidence that led you to such conclusion? I reckon it should not be a problem, after the song and dance show your members made over Omerta Syndicate refusing to disclose theirs...

What an utterly ridiculous and laughable war declaration. Clearly, Omerta has run out of targets or purpose, choosing to rehash an ages-old war for no justifiable reason.
Coincidentally, a number of my mercenary colleagues in several corps have been expressing a similar level of boredom. I think it is time to provide Omerta with more than they bargained for.

Funny, I'm pretty sure we've spent the last two pages discussing the justification. Part of me wonders if you just convieniently plucked what you wanted to hear out of the thread and ignored the rest.

All I can say is that if pod pilots are supposed to be the cream of each Empire, then this thread speaks volumes about the minmatar race and is of little suprise to me that they are in such a beleagured state of affairs if this is indeed their best and brightest.
On another note, why do people feel the need to justify killing and war? Just shoot until your either out of ammo or theres no one left alive.
Good luck Omerta and may they never see your thrusters.
P.S. Kyoko you still owe me a dinner dear.
