i have heard it doesn't start if you stay cloaked, but I'm too busy raking in isk to waste a site by doing nothing. Why can't I delete this signature? |

So you think the increase in the decryptor supply was some kind of accident or oversight?
That's... lol. |

Earlier I heard people talking about ghost sites saying that there are only green cans in Ghost sites, but...
I just found it yesterday at the expenses of my Helios. THERE ARE YELLOW CANS IN GHOST SITES. And if you can't finish it within like 15 clicks, and not in some super tanking ship, warp away. Or you will be popped... |

"Looking into" doesn't mean "planning on changing". The aggregate effect of the change is that decryptors went from being something that only had applications in a fraction of invention jobs to something that is a variable in many or most of them (this is a good thing!).

Now if they'd only make Data Interfaces a limited number of uses like R.A.M. there'd actually be a market for the other 75% of the stuff in data sites. |

I think it is important that the dev blog specifically points out that this is NOT exploration content. I say this because the current dedicated exploration content is very thin. My worry is if Ghosts sites are adopted as exploration content then the priority given to exploration will drop.
I would really like additional sites tailored to probing. CCP Affinity stated that they were (finished?) working on tools to help create additional content therefore it is my hope that they will be able to easily/rapidly create additional dedicate exploration content.
yes, we are working in making new tools - this is an ongoing process and will take some time CCP Affinity | Follow me on Twitter Content Designer for EVE Online |

Thank you for the reply. Being a hardcore non coder I imagine tool development takes time and never really finishes. That said I look forward to any additional PvE content that comes along, particularly exploration content. I guess the real question can't be answered: When will see new/updated content? |

Actually that was mistype on my part (was late and I was tired). I meant to say Data Interface parts.

That said, what are current NPC buy costs for these? Haven't gotten a chance to log in today. :x
I think you have the right idea, however... CCP will be hesitant to change material costs for the implants. If anything they'll adjust drop rates. I doubt we'll see any new uses for shattered villard wheels.
Regarding CRTs, CCP could definitely make them be used in various invention-type processes for new content. However, in the meantime its fairly certain that they will be cash-tokens like sleeper data libraries. CCP has announced NPC buy orders are coming, which will give ghost sites a good (and IMO necessary) baseline isk value as prices for the wetu and common implants inevitably crash. The cost of raw materials for the implants at least is very significant, and I feel like CCP wants these implants to be affordable, meaning the BPC rarity itself must be low. In which case the CRTs=cash needs to be around to keep people searching for ghost sites. If the sites end up being low-value outside of a yurt/gamma/delta/omega drop, it would be a bad outcome.
CCP has delayed the CRT buy orders to give us some fun market uncertainty and to decide how much to make them worth in the first place. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

Er... I haven't checked TQ, but the buy orders were very much in place on SiSi last I checked (500k ea). |

Good to know. Although the price point of an NPC buy order is something they could easily change. 500k could well be a placeholder, although thats just about what the markets in Jita seem to think it'll be as well. I'm content to hold onto my stock for now, I'm hoping for like 750k. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. Have you actually checked to see if they are, in fact, not on TQ?
AFAIK, they're in NPC null sec only. |

Eve-Central, then, has failed you. They are in fact in game and have been since the patch last Thursday (the 21st). Buy orders at all Guristas stations in Venal (haven't checked other pirate factions) for 500k each. What is interesting is the usual NPC buy order (flat) numbers and then one huge, odd-numbered buy order.
I give it higher then even odds that some drunk fat finger at CCP made that mistake, or possibly something will happen when that huge buy order is filled. |

Yeah, I just flew out to Syndicate on TQ and they are definitely present. Eve-Central isn't all that reliable a resource for non-hub areas. |
