Hmmm... While not a particularly construcive post, it would be nice to see cruiser and even battleship-sized webifiers which could reach out to 30km or so for a massive capacitor cost.
Yes, there are the named officers' webbers out there, but it would be good to get some common Tech I long range modules for use on larger vessels.

they should make scram and web, that is a) target size/mass dependant
b) aggressor size/mass dependant.
i think.
but the same woud have to apply for wcs
i think.

Please BOOST webbing and scrambling.
Yesterday I tried to kill a battleship that was camping our station. I didn't have much time so I decided to scan him before I even bothered. He had 7 warp core stabs and jammers...I looked at the 5 mid slots on my tempest and decided to just go back to work...

It should be like this :
Web/scramble frigate = rewuire little cap
Web/scramble battleship = require ALOT of cap.

Heres an idea:
Make webbing use cap dependent on the "Ion propulsion Strength" statistic of the target.

I'd like to see scramblers that only work for certain class ships. I.E. frigate class scramblers can't scramble battleships, and on up the line, etc. etc.
Right now everything having to do with piracy is simply a matter of who has more. It's like RPS without Paper and Scissors. Whoever throws the largest stone wins, period. Same goes for NOS. The only counter against them is either "Don't get Nos'ed" or "Get a bigger Nos." 
Maybe some different categories of scramblers, web, etc. would make things a little more interesting. And it'd get rid of the spam-7-WCS-can't-ever-get-scrambled situation.
It won't happen though.

Leave WCS and Scramblers as they are (or maybe make it chance based like jammers) and bring out large Tractor Beams for BSs that when enabled on a frigate pull the frigate into it like in the movies... innit....

I'll give you class-based webify if you give me class-based NOS: Frigates cannot webify battleships easily, but neither can battleships NOS frigates (or webify) frigates easily.
Scramblers need a boost or game dynamics need to change so that chasing after warpers is possible aside from visually and by use of scanner (faster probes as standard equipment on all ships without a launcher module would be a good start, though there should be some way to 'follow a warp trail', balanced between target and pursuer so that both have to work to flee/pursue effectively).

Ok, using your idea, my ishkur could scramble for 8 points at a range of 45km, regardless of wether or not I hold a lock, have cap, or am in range after I send them at you. It would suck so hardcore for other people =/.

He had ECM too. A pilot with seven WCS installed is bent on running and will do so the second his ECM kicks in.
Me, personally, I think WCS belong in high slots. Enough already with those that have too big a fence to sit on between fighting and running away.

The nos argument is rather mute i think because a huge, powerful, BS class module should drain the hell out of a little ship, aside from that, i like the idea of webbin and scramblin affected by the ion strengh and such, you would naturally assume a large ship would have a more powerful computer system etc.
BS need some love, i recall someone mentioning about frig guns on bs armour doin -50% damage, to cruiser -25%, because of the thicker armour, i quite liked that idea, think he brought it up coz of the whining inty pilots moaning about nos, keep the ideas flowing

If you look at the nos affect, the stream isny like a laser or a shell, its a fat stream suckin the energy, so why should it be affected like normal large turrets wen it doesnt do the same function, ie, precison attack

Little ship webs and scrambles big ship. Big ship activates heavy nos on little ship.
Web and scramble are no longer a problem. 
Granted, I miss the 30-second cycle times on web and scramble modules that made tackling a much easier job.
