The reboot was needed.
I experienced black screens of death on some of my accounts that would not go away until relogging.
Imagine getting this when you undock with a JF in NPC null sec and similar.

ROFL. Well, server is up, but my mission had to be quit because I couldent warp to the location. Well, I could, but the jump gate and stuff never spawned ROFL. Oh well, I ran it twice today anyway with the downtimes :D

perhaps driver update would fix your black screens... haven't experienced any so far.
also: revert to directx 9 from launcher if your system refuses to swallow 11.
...and clear cache from there also.

Thanks for all the help guys, unfortunately none of these things are actually fixing the issue
But at least the Eve community is really helpful. Much more helpful than CCP are being anyway. I am still waiting for them to confirm that they've received my request for help |
