Seriously, do some of you act stupid or are you???
j0 has told you how most senarios look like when it comes to battles in Eve....
Most of them take place at gates (who DONT) spit out ships at their optimal ranges (exept for closerange ones ;) )
If I am in a Moa and see a Thorax 20K from me I know that I am dead meat, it dosent matter what kind of fitting I have...
Why you ask: You cant outrun a thorax whitout mwd, and its even harder since the Rax pilot (if he/she isnt a moron) have a web fitted.
FFS, I have taken out BS whit a Thorax...solo...and I know that many others have as well...lets just face it, the only other Crusier out there that have a chance against a Rax is the Maller....Or Sivona is his weirdass Rupture.
And as said before, you have to be close to get a kill in Eve beacuse there arnt any 100K scramblers out there.
So, once again...the Moa sucks, exept at killing t1 frigs 80K out, and to do that you have to know that the frig is actually there.

Close range setup ships and deadly to long range setups. I've toasted thoraxs with moa, I've toasted a lot of ships with moa.
Key is outdamage the opposing ship, what REALLY helps if being able to use warrior IIs, 3 of them will take medium drone pretty quickly, reducing damage from the opposing ship.

Caracles own all of u!!
I would use 5x heavy launchers
1x MWD, 1x tech 2 shield booster, 1x shield amp, 2x cap boost or recharge or what ever to boost cap.
1x balistic controller 1x what ever

and i dont think a thorax will fit this mods that expands his drone control range... so a thorax has only 45km range with his sentry drones
60 KM. EW drone skill increases control range by another 3 KM per level, for 15 KM more
