Not mentioned so far in this thread: model designers usually have a polygon count budget. This ship blows that budget out of the water. Day 0 advice for new players: Day 0 Advice for New Players |

I don't get why the shuttle bay has to be cosmetic. A shuttle sized SMA would be useful. It certainly doesn't make or break the ship, but why not since it has one? |

So low mass, lots of mentions of medical bay graphically, potential shuttle SMA, anyone else think this is going to be used for moving medical clones or jump clones easier through space / wh space easier than a rorqual etc? |

At the presentation on the new Apoch at the last Fanfest the Dev said they like to make a super high poly count model first then scale back and optimize it.
I wonder if any bits of it spin. Spinning is so much cooler than not spinning after all.

Great looking ship... But since the cruiser costs about 450 million, this new battleship is going to be a rare sight. |

hmmmm i like the ship over all and respect the skills of the designers but i would have put the warp ring on the back of the ship.
But i am looking forward to getting one for an alt. Welcome to EVE --áEVE is not a game --áAdapt or die. |

Looks ok but i was expecting something different, more awesome and more bulky.

Just look, white Nestor:

Oh noes, here it comes! We are doomed!
There is nothing wrong with designing a starship on a home appliance, as long as it doesn't looks like a home appliance...

if as it seems the ring is at the back i really really do not like the two front wings, theyre way too long. I would say cut them back to about a third the current height or get rid of them.
having said that though if its the other way around its actually ok and would be even better if they spin. Pirates - The Invisible Fist of Darwin

In my opinion, the ring would look better if it is either at the middle or at the back.
As it currently looks, as pointer earlier it looks just like a hand blender..
Don't think our input matters much though. too bad I don't think CCP will change anything at all on its design at this stage, until 'ship redesign' later in the future. |

Why would someone bring an overpriced drone boat into wormhole space to be used with no distinctive advantage over the other overpriced drone boat "Rattlesnake" especially without the ability to utilize the covert ops cloak?

I'll admit, I don't see this as being useful at all unless there's some sort of serious advantage to it other than it's low mass. Sleepers are hell on drones, and no covert... unless this thing is able to put up stargates or something I don't see it as viable.

I might guess that the forward cylinder, on which the ring is anchored, is spinning? Awesome design; however, it looks somewhat fragile compared to other bs'es. In the beginning, there was pain and despair. And death. Immense tragedies and terrible catastrophies. |

Stellan Crendraven wrote:I might guess that the forward cylinder, on which the ring is anchored, is spinning? Awesome design; however, it looks somewhat fragile compared to other bs'es. I agree with the fragile-looking observation.. it looks very unimposing compared to previous designs by Asgeir Jon Asgeirsson.
But I have to say I'm warming up to it- imagining it in space makes it honestly look pretty cool. The only thing I'm worried about is that it's going to be going into wormholes.
Unless it has a special attribute that keeps sleepers from targeting its drones or something, it'll be hard to use it against them.
But I am starting to like its design more and more- and I'll be able to get one as soon as it comes to the LP store, so... "A City made of Wood is built in the forest; A City made of Stone is built in the mountains; But a City made of Dreams....is built in heaven."
