They may get some more branding (Gallente/Caldari symbols) and of course the option to reskin down the road with whatever capacity that takes on. Have they said if the Amarr and Minmatar ships will be reskinned in a later build for this expansion or is that not coming this winter?

I guess there's a slight complaint that the ships are now much darker, so you don't get that highlighted 'shine' against the sun or surrounding nebula anymore, but the grittier, sharper texture maps still beats the original plasticy look. Too awesome ~ Great job, CCP, hoping for more complete model redesigns in the future too, the new Raven's looking great =)

I can assure you the Ishtar still has it's extra engines, and all the other T2 ships have their various differences too. If fact some have been given extra, like the Phobos.

Not sure, sometimes when I load the sisi client its defaulted back to nothing, but they should be on 16x and I can do upto 32x When game companies take screen-shots of their work I notice that they often do them without anti-aliasing for some reason - I have always wondered if they do that so that people who don't have good video cards aren't disappointed but I dunno. Also that navy hyperion is using eve textures from the stuff files, not my own :)

These are the textures and models from the game client - the colours are wrong because they weren't rendered with the ingame engine and I had to approximate the real colours from the .red files

Not sure if I'm hitting the nail on the head, or maybe even missing it completely...but I can see why this might be a tricky thing to implement, unless we get T2 tier two battlecruisers or something to up the ante. Honestly, I can really only see them giving the navy versions better CPU/Powergrid and an extra slot or two. Maybe more drone bandwidth.
