I can't seem to get to the P2 setup page. HAve they pulled it until they fix the problems with P2 accounts?

I just got this Message on the screen when going to create a 2nd P^2 account.

My self and a friend both got P^2 accounts, transfered our characters over to them and now we can't login with those characters we get a "failed" message.
Is this normal?

Yes I got the same error message. "Failed" when I click my character in the character login screen.

Hi
I was registering a Po2 account on the 4th of march and i got an error message(COMM ERROR) at the credit card information. A pressed next again and it wrote that i already payed for this account. After this i didnt got a confirmation email and i could not log in to the account either. Password recovery works but i cant login with that password either. The money was transferred from my bank on the 7th march so it has been charged and the process has been interrupted. Right now i cant use my account and i havent got my money back.
Some people told me i should contact Kieron but i dont know his email adress. I wrote some emails to support but didnt got some answers just some auto replys with links but those are not much help. Please can anyone help me with this?

My transfered P^2 character works now after down time. Perhaps something informing the user about this on the character transfer page? Or if it's already there make it much more visible.
Also odd is that another friend who transfered a character was able to use that character immeadiatly.

If you have a number of normal accounts I.e one main account, and a second account. You buy a P^2 accout from your main account. Then you can buy a second P^2 account from your alt account to.
This is the only way i know of getting a second P^2 account.

this isn't the answer to my question, if i had two or more active acounts there won't be a problem ... i asked if i can get another po2 offer on my only active acount becouse i already buyed one for my brother but i want another one for myself !?

This is pretty much a deal breaker for me. We get the account at 1/2 price for 6 months and thats it. Then we have to pay full price again. If we could keep renewing the extra account at the discounted rate it would be far more valuable.

I just set up a P2 account today. No problems doing so. However, I can't find information on how to transfer a character from my main account to the P2 account? Can someone direct me to where how to do this is shown? Thank you.

Memorya, the offer is for one p^2 account per active subscription.
Dem Bones, no, it is not possible to activate old accounts with the p^2 offer. The p^2 offer is only for the creation of new accounts.
trimdonite, sharing account information with immediate family members is not a breach of the EULA. Sharing account information with extended family and friends is a EULA violation.
Mia Noi, you must use the character transfer service to move a character from a normal account to a p^2 account. The offer to transfer a character from a normal account to a p^2 account was made only to account owners who created normal accounts in the time mentioned in the grace period.

I'd sooo want to get this, but I certainly won't unless some kind of a skill queue/dual training will get implemented. Effectively skilling several chars is a major pain right now unless you have constant access to the PC.

Kieron, isn't that what you said against the FAQ:
"10. What prevents me from creating a P^2 account, transferring my main character from my old account to the P^2 account, then closing the old account?
Nothing, but this is not what the P^2 promotion was intended for."
?
I'm considering getting a p2 account and transferring my main character from my main account to it. According to FAQ, possible? Or not?

possible, yes. But you still have to pay the character trasfer fee. My understanding of it.

I'm a bit unclear on the extent of the ^2 offer. Is there only one ^2 account per person? It's still March and I've just logged into account management and there's no ^2 button. I have created one ^2 account already.

I created my account on 17/02/06 but didnt start paying for the account (as it was a trial account) until 31/02/06 - am I still eligable to upgrade this to a p^2 account?

Ok obviously it isn't "per person" because I have managed to create a second power of 2 account, but the creation process is erratic. Once again I haven't been able to find the power of 2 link since creating the second power of 2 account. Could we possibly have an extension, because I am interested in creating one or two more but the account creation system on eve-online.com is making that impossible.

I was waiting for my next paycheck before I started a p2 acct. On April 2nd I went to set it up and *poof* ended March 31, 2006  ....argh! lol make that 3 extra subscriptions you would have if you extended it.
