The Power of 2 Offer is now available. To participate in this offer, log into Account Management and look for the Power of 2 button that has been added. A list of Frequently Asked Questions is available during the Power of 2 account creation process, or it may be found here.
Further information regarding the Power of 2 account offer may be found in HellmarÆs Dev Blog, this News Item and this Forum Post.
If the Planck Bubble Stabilizer page appears during the Power of 2 account creation process, do not worry. Database maintenance may interfere with the process, so all you need to do is try again a few minutes later. No charges will be applied for interrupted attempts to create a Power of 2 account, charges will only be applied at the end of the process.

hrm.. so how is this gonna work ?
the price is for both accounts or just the 2'nd one ?
1'st account = normal price
2'nd account = 49.95Ç/$
so total cost is norm. price + the 49.95Ç/$ ?
EDIT: nvm, i checked what the 6month fee was, so its just for the 2'nd account, but i let the question stand, as there may be others that are confused :P

My question wasn't answered in the FAQ, but none the less still looking for an answer: Is it alright to create a P2 account and turn over complete control of the account to a friend? Or would this still be considered against the rules?
As I think about it more and more I'm getting closer to seeing it as against the rules in some way but I just wanted to have some clarification on this as I know people who wouldn't mind playing EVE for 6 months off of a one time fee of $50.

Anything that is bought in the UK (pretty much, certainly anything through a credit card) automatically is +17.5% afaik. Why? I don't know, most other countries seem to get by without it.
