anyone got any info on this LVL4 mission? i've looked through some guides but no one has this one

The big things to worry in this are Zor, who shoots thermal cruise missiles in his raven at a stupid speed of one every 1.5seconds or something like that. Packing along defenders didn't work so well due to the fact that they go after the closest. He isn't so bad though. I had support from a thorax and he dropped him pretty fast.
You have high-speed battleships that will get close before the main fleet. They hurt.
Set your default warp-in to 100km, snipe what you can (battleships and interceptors), warp out if you need to and warp back in at 15km. Rince repeat until done.
EDIT! Oh yeah, I used explsove/kinetic/thermal hardeners. I don't think there's much EM damage, but I could be mistaken.

Meh, this mission is nothing to worry about anymore. It was beaten with the nerf stick quite severely a while ago. No need to warp in at 100km anymore, a dual rep + 3 hardener Apoc can tank everything with ease now.

Just to be clear, you can't warp in at 100km, it is a deadspace, that puts you right into the fray. To be safe, take a shuttle, warp in, drop a BM, then go back get your ship and warp to an appropriate distance to that.

Actually you can warp in at 100km with out making a bookmark, just change Default warp in range to what ever you want, be it 40,60 or a 100km

My notes to myself on doing this mission...hope it helps 
RIGHT HAND OF Zazzmatazz 020606 - Tank Therm & Kin.....used Exclusively Kinetic Heavy Missiles with Cerbus HAC...easy mission this way. Takeout the Headquarters !
Warp in and warp out with default set to 100k, Warp back in and u'll be at 100k from nearest ship. AB back to gate and take out 250k Overloard and 85k Olufami and then start taking out the cruisers. Take out Zor when all the cruisers are dead. Fly down and take out the 2 Frigs and 4 scrambling frigs.

Seems like they've changed it and it's not deadspace mission any more. You can pick your warp distance.
With Raven pack with thermal missiles/torpedos, warp to 100km and get rid of Zor first. After that it's easy.

Since the bloodline patch, 'The Right Hand of Zazzmatazz' is now considered an encounter mission, so you can choose the distance you want to warp in at: 15-100km.
Even if you warp in at 100km, Zor will still aggro you, as will his escorts. Zor's Cataclysm cruise missles can hit out to 150km and he fires one about every 1.5 secs, so tank thermal if you want to try and snipe him. His escorts will start connecting with Havoc (Exp) missles at 75km or so.

i done this mission just before dt, warped in at 20k, in a cerb, with 4 hardeners, was getting ***** slapped for a bit, until my alt came in and started remote sheild repin me,

take a buddy or two who can heavy NOS and remote armour rep its easy CCP requested feature please - quite simple really.
For CEOs days since last login details on all members in their Corp. this will help manage inactives and those that dont log in can be removed - |

Edited by: Thetys on 04/03/2006 12:31:43 dunno if this still applies, but a friend and me were flying this thing together, while i was warping in at a fine distance of 60km his bs was thrown right beside to zor, at like 5km, anything aggroed him, he'd have died w/o supporter happened like 2 weeks or 10 days ago

easy mision imo.. didnt have alot of trouble with it, kill zor first, kill the cruisers second and your set.. warping out at 70-80km worked for me.
if your getting pwned with a raven or a cerb, your doing something horribly wrong --- When It Absolutely Positively Has To Be Desotroyed. |

I do missions in a tanked poc and I usually first take out the frigates, then the bs's and later the cruisers. Its the bs's that brings the pain. So when they are gone it becomes easy enough for multi tasking.

Now its pretty douable, i use two chars and my main can tank it.
My agents are Lvl4 Q20 (effictive 42) and im in 0.1 (LP btw 7825 for this mission, get them books )
On the first try i used 2 kin + 3 ther harderners (ntypes) + larger armor rep 2 (apoc). Well that didnot work and I had to warp out. Second try: 2 kin + 2 ther harderners + 1 explosive(ntypes) + larger armor rep 2 That worked just fine.
Could do the mission 2x times in a row and did it with the last setup. Now i finished it under 3 minits, wondering if i missed something :).
Just for targetting and getting ur alt in, its maybe best to jump in at 80-100km.
Ok its really not that hard but without some decent hardeners en stuff, u still could get pwnd.

Just completed this mission in a Retribution with the help of a Crusader. I'll admnit that I had to warp out a few times, until all of the frigates had been destroyed due to damage taken. Plenty of missile spammage and it is possible to draw off cruisers if you're at distance (80-100km). We took out the named ships first, after the frigates as some of them have no trouble hitting a little ship like mine. The Maller wnet first then the rest. After that it was plain sailing. I didn't realise that the structures held loot :( and declared the mission complete whilst my helper was popping them. This caused all structures to vanish, only leaving the loot cans. Guess I'll know better next time.

I do this in a mediorce skill Machariel with one warpout. Set up to snipe with 1400s and cruise launchers and 2 T2 therm shield hardners. I do the warp with a shuttle, set BM then warp on BM at 100km thingy as the 'setting warp to distance' trick does not work for me, I get thrown in at different ranges all the time regardless of what my warp to distance is set at. Anyway, I kill the Overlord (Seven Macleari or somesuch) first coz its so damn fast, then start working on Zor who is the major damage dealer. I almost got him too the last time I did this so with slightly better skills its doable without warping prolly. And that is with a crap DPS ship, should be a cakewalk for a Raven....

I did this mission today...my first level 4 mission actually.
I used my new Domi, medium guns, lots of tech 1 drones, lots of cap rechargers (~17%), 1 cpr, 1 tech 2 large repper, and 5x tech 2 hardeners 1 exp, 2kin, 2themr.
They outdamaged the 1 large repper, but slowly...I had enough time to target the specific ships that had me scrambled so I could warp out, and let the repper catch up - was down to about 20% armor.
There were guards (30k intys that looked like jov frigs) that didn't agro until I pulled out my drones...then they specifically targeted my drones...took one out before I pulled the others in.
After the guards, then I knew only Zor scrambled, because I read it in advance from http://npc.elfarto.com/view.php?id=12256 so I just never let him get within 30 of me until it was clear my repper was winning.
Next time, I'm going to go for 2 large reppers, and trade my medium guns for 3 or so Heavy Nos. I expect 2 reppers will hold for me.
Zor gave me a +10% afterburner duration hardwire...sadly I don't have cyber 5. =======Abaddon=======

Sadly, the more you do this mission the more Zor's Custom Navigation implants you will acquire. I don't find much use for them at all, it'd be nice if Zor and his clones switched up what implants they decide to leave when you dispatch of him(them).
