ccp's 'useless' ships almost always have a bonus, intended to bring attention to specific features. The Primae for PI, Echion for scanning, Zephyr for Wormholes. Yeah they arnt very good at their jobs, but they are civilian-class, cool unique ships, and do bring attention to their bonused professions

something that would be awesome is if they put a random maze generator (they exist already so that part would not add to it) and allow you to wander through the maze while bored in the station. the random generator would be so you don't end up knowing the maze by heart after 3-4 runs.

We actually had quite an extensive meeting on Friday to discuss what would be the best holiday gift to give you guys this year. My idea was to give all you nasty pirates a gift of carbon while the cuddly carebears get GOLDEN RAVENS!

Ok, ok just kidding there but we had about 30-40 people brainstorming a whole host of ideas. These are now under consideration and we should expect to have a final decision later this week. Now that does not mean I am going to come and tell you what it is since, well, some things still need to be a surprise.

CCP have hinted at a 'surprise' in the Winter Expansion. Every previous such surprise has been a shiny (but usually completely useless) free ship. So, what do you think this year's free hangar bauble will be? Or will it be something completely different?

Something that CCP was by no means obligated to put any effort or time into whatsoever but did so anyway to make you happy, but that you will no doubt ceaselessly whine about anyway becuase you're a self-obsessed ingrate.

From the picture on their winter expansion preview page - ie the Yellow imcus, Rust/Silver Brutix, Black/red Navitas, blue and black (forgive me if this is the wrong ship type) navy comet, silver and black tristan, i'd say its custom ship skins.

But feel free to keep guessing random stuff!
