I run EVE on Linux 2.6.12-Genplus and It work good exceps:
- ESC broken since Shiva :(
- Show info on players ==> Player X member of machin truc corporation from 408 Years......
- Minmatar Gates and Station ==> CTD : Workaround, zooming out AND place cam in side of the ship, not in rear else when you warp the gate will enter in collision with the cam and... CTD!
- CTD in Minmatar Space are only CTD in Cedega 4.3.2 but CTD morph to TSC [Total System Crash] with 4.4.x+ (all terminal crash and the Magic-key turn offline :()
- With Cedega 4.4.x+, random TSC when I quit with CTRL-Q |

I tried to remap the ESC, this work on Windows but when I cp the *.dat+prefs.ini except pc.dat on my linux, this don't work :/

I have now canceled my Transgaming subscription becose:
Each new Cedega version with EVE = NEW BUG
The less buggy Cedega for EVE is 4.3.2 here, with a more recent version, the ctrl-Q crash my comp 1 time/2 and the minmi gate crash my computer since 4.4!
BUT, EVE is more stable (when you play many hours in one time..) after my update:
glibc 2.3.90-20051201 (with many amd64 patch)
gcc-4.1
kernel 2.6.14-nitro2
before this update, EVE seem to be more slow with the time so a client restart each 2-3H was needed...

Cedega 5.1.1, It's working for me to! No crash with ESC key except if I change my resolution (CTD but setting saved and when I relog the new sitting work!)
This night I will test it with Xgl (if I can get a Transparent Yakuake under EVE display to make someting during warp time...)

I confirm everything!
EVE 4562 work very well with Cedega 5.2.6
Anyone know when this very good patch will applied to the main server?

Now I am unable to login, I have alawys te latest version 4562 but I have a Protocol Incompatible on Test server...

The last automatic patch worked fine with wine 0.9.26. EVE always working (at low FPS :()
Someone get it work under Cedega, or I can stop paying for this thing?

So the only thing I need to do is restart EVE
wine 0.9.26

(I cant boot Windows and Cedega don't want to start installer for an unknown reason)

Asynchronous IO and IO Completion are supported since Wine 0.9.39 (I take that from the changelog). The true IO Completion support start with build 0.9.46
But it's probably parcial support & stub. I'm also sure that this will work before cedega. And currently, Cedega is sinking. Everyone are cancelling there subscription...
