Was good reading :) Not too much mamby pambyness I like a bit of action in my books :) Less "lovey dovey rubbish", more of this sort of thing: Quote: ...shrill alarms sounded throughout the megathron as the capacitor batteries struggled to maintain their charge. It appeared that the more he pumped energy into them the less they held, 'Curse this weapon of hell!' as his last systems deactivated due to a lack of power he resigned himself to a fate worse than death, and he attempted to activate his warp drive and flee the serpentis fleet that was attacking, he would have to deal with the dishonour he would face from fleeing from his foes when he got back, but he couldnt afford to risk losing his precious cargo any longer.
well that sort of thing anyway, probably crap but twas done on the fly to demonstrate it :)
But theodicy and ruthless were very very good reading :) put me down for your novella :) ----- Memorable Quotes <Jarltan Dimtras> OH MY GOD MY GF IS A DUDE |

Originally by: Maya Rkell I myself have tried to write a few stories for Eve, but in all honesty I was often stymied by the LACK of post-Human elements to the stories. Now that...a true post-Human element has been introduced to us for the first time (the...ahh, Dark Jove, not gonna TRY and spell it) it'll be interesting to see how things turn out.
You must be referring to prime fiction then. Otherwise you'd be a pretty ****-poor RPer to be using the words "Dark Jove" and complaining about a lack of post-human elements. HellGremlin's Endless Corp fiction was pretty much a basis for such things. The Dark Joves (exact words used in his stories) existed to manipulate from behind the scenes, and cause unspeakable terror without a trace. They're sort of like the little voice in our head that tells us to commit murder, and plot schemes to engulf the world in war. Its the first real mention that there might be another layer of truth behind the first impenetrable one of the Jovian Empire.
I don't know if Tony Gonzales has ever read the "Heaven" piece himself and obtained inspiration from that, but it would make him the second major fiction writer to use such elements. Only time will tell how far CCP embraces this as part of prime fiction, and whether its simply a trump card for explaining things which even Jovian meddling cannot explain. Personally I think we, the players, are going to have the last and final say on where this goes.
But there is also a part of me which wonders if this is all "to be expected" given such an unrefutable repeat of history.

Is that possible by any chance?
I'll look into having Theodicy and Ruthless turned into a pdf. A pdf of all the Chronicles has been assembled by a player, just a few minor details to work out before the Chronicles pdf is online and available.
Kieron, whats the status on this Chronicles PDF? I'm really itching to download it and print it out. I assume it also has the graphics. _____________________________________________________________________ Thar be Pirates
