Guys. Let's have an old-fashioned sit-in. We go there and camp Caldari Prime until they move it to the New Caldari system.

Edited by: Cinnander on 26/04/2006 14:03:01 The Caldari People created friction that led to the tense situation preceeding the war by working behind the backs of the rest of the Gallente society; The Caldari People (or at least your corporate leaders) then decided to make a stand when confronted, not back down and return to society, or go seperate ways peacefully later on.
You (formerly we) started a war, you lost your homeworld as a product thereof.
Regardless of politics, Caldari Prime would be reduced to a burned out cinder before it was wrested from the grasp of those of us who would be willing to defend it, and the people who occupy it.
Taking a city street by street can be a tedious and costly process; a planet exponentially moreso. |

Caldari: If you will not give us Caldari Prime, we shall take it by force!
Gallente GUARD: You don't frighten us, Caldari pig-dogs! Go and boil your bottom, sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called Caldari Prime, you and all your silly Caldari pilots. Thpppppt! Thppt! Thppt!
Caldari 2: What a strange person.
Caldari : Now look here, my good man--
Gallente GUARD: I don't wanna talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! You mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
Caldari 2: Is there someone else up there we could talk to?
Gallente GUARD: No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time-a! [sniff]
Caldari: Now, this is your last chance. I've been more than reasonable.
Gallente GUARD: (Fetchez la vache.)

Caldari: Run away!
KNIGHTS: Run away! Gallente GUARD: Thppppt! Gallente GUARDS: [taunting] Caldari 3: Fiends! I'll tear them apart! Caldari: No, no. No, no. Caldari 4: Sir! I have a plan, sir.

Caldari 4: Well, now, uh, Caldari 2, 3, and I, uh, wait until nightfall, and then leap out of the Titan, taking the Gallente, uh, by surprise. Not only by surprise, but totally unarmed!
Caldari: Who leaps out?
Caldari 4: U-- u-- uh, Caldari 2, 3 and I. Uh, leap out of the Titan, uh, and uh...

The concept of war is not opposit to profit. It actually dependon on what level you are looking. At the micro level there will be personal losses. People will die, people will suffer and people will starve. At the macro level the corporations that conduct a sensible war will prosper. Some corporations will succumb, but the strong will not only grow strong but together make a stronger state as a result. Therefore I see no oposition in the honorable goal of retaking Caldari Prime with the necessity of profit.
However, this is the case of a war against one adversary. I do believe it would be both a presumptuous and erroneous assumption. We are figurativly, if not literally, surounded by forces willing and eager to strike at any weakness we should show. Therefore let us not be blinded and plan the victory celebrations yet. Any war, no matter if it is fought on the battlefield or in the boardroom, should be a combination of offence and defence.
I therefore propose a three part strategy. First we need to scout and prepare an offence to retake what is rightfully ours. Secondly we need to strong defence to protect and discurage any would be agressors. Thirdly we should explor the option of a diplomatic, economic or covert offensive. After all, why fight for somthing if you can get them to give it to you.
With regard to the honourable Nexus Angelus and Hypherians' concern of a coming threath I can only agree that information is an essential part of any conflict. Any possibility of an extern force intervening in the coming conflict should be explored and debated.

(I dont know Nicose. I just saw this as an excuse to do some roleplaying. I might be in the wrong forum though, *cough* if so I appologize. But I must say, it would be VERY cool if battle for Caldari prime was PvE since that's what I've been doing mostly up untill now. But if this gets to be a PvP event between caldari and Gallante that would be great as well.)

I am a young Caldari pod pilot looking to be with my homelands again. I believe a massively spearheaded corporate alliance within the caldari society willing to hold on to what was once our homes will overcome any opposition. Our ancestory and ideals do not lead us to give up our lands to the people of gallente.
We should not fold and we shouldn't let our homes go for any one or race.
I for one have nothing against the Gallentean's except they rest in our beds our homes and around our historical landmarks.
I for one will take up arms against them occupying forces of Caldari Prime.
We should stand up and fight against what is ours. We should land a surgical strike against our enemy and take back what is ours by stripping the people of what they do not inherently own. No obstacle is to far from our grasps if we stand up and fight as one, for the greatest cause of all....Our HOMES!!!

Every day, I wake up and look out the window at Caldari Prime rotating below. I have been stationed here for almost a month. I have only found a few people who have any ill feelings toward the Caldari. Most of those are unbalanced individuals who everyone agrees around here just need meds.
When I first we arrived, Kat and I spent almost a week looking for Gallente to attack. Except for "The Scope", there were not any real targets out there not protected by CONCORD and the Fed Navy that could even be war declared.
Kat tracked down what became of the Gallente when they left their academy (protection) and found they either joined Caldari run corporations or those in 0.0 space never to look back on our conflict or Gallente held space.
I talked to the Gallente about the ongoing hostilities and they were indeed upset about them. Their concern for the Amarr is vast as they are such polar opposites in beliefs. Having been reminded the Caldari exist, their Presidential Candidate made a speech not that flattering to the memory of our brothers who died so Caldari Prime could be evacuated in those hasty weeks of the war.
In the end, I sold most of the widowmaker missiles off one by one for lack of a target. I spend the day trying to collapse them monetarily. I reprocess their drones, I raise the prices of their ships, I guide them to sell their items foolishly. If the war is to be fought, the only Target I have seen is "The Scope". Unfortunately, Kat accepted "The Scope's surrender" with the condition that the Federal Navy be required to have pink uniforms and a pink hat. Since Kat saw no problem with that - she felt it was an okay demand in return.
So I will wake up tomorrow on this Federal station and look below at our Homeworld and the Gallente who walk upon it. I might get a visa to go visit it. I might go look at the monument to the war and the destroyed Caldari space station in orbit.
Heed our experience and find a way to fight this war more efficiently than we did. We will continue this fight for as long as we are able, but frankly it might have been better for all Caldari to have died fighting here rather than go to the colonies. Our history and ancient holy ground is spat upon daily by Gallente who hold our soil in contempt as they go about daily life upon it. Soon the land will not remember we existed at all. Maybe that is the better way to live - maybe we should not look back and instead look to our Destiny ahead.
Our Caldari souls die a little each day under this Gallente Sun.

Just remember we have taken the fight to Caldari Prime. Meet us there in the Federation Station and experience it yourself. If you have the courage to fight when completely surrounded by the enemy, you may join us. We have nothing to offer except purpose.
In fact, most of the time we spend trying to find weapons and pay for them, so you might want to bring some with you as you leave the colonies. (especially missiles )
The alternative is to use their ships, weapons, and drones...

Some of you may not have trained in the unsavory art of Guerilla Warfare and that is what we are faced with now. I can see you hesitate and say - but what can I do? I am just one person.
You can:
Uphold Caldari ideals wherever you go to increase our image.
You can reprocess as many blasters, drones, and Gallente ships as you are able and sell the mins to Caldari builders. Deny them racial ships!
You can mine their ore fields to the bone so they don't regenerate.
You can encourage macroers to work in Caldari Space - FOR US!.
You can avoid protecting our Gallente adversaries from Pirates.
You can protect and support the Gallente enemies, such as the Amarr.
You can convince Gallente pilots not to graduate and if they do, to dilute them into the universe working for other corporations and even held by Amarr if possible.
Don't sell critical minerals for supporting Gallente Control Towers, building Gallente Tech II ships, and other Tech II in Gallente space.
Set up dangerous missions leading their cadets into the hands of Gankers.
Use their Factory and R&D slots to make Caldari goods.
In short, weaken them however you can so their culture is lessened like ours has been with the loss of our Homeworld.
Not every solution is directly related to a warhead and as Patriots you CAN and WILL make a difference if you try.

I was there - had a trip to Caldari Prime - watched both the Caldarian Monuments orbiting our proud Caldari Prime. It was a sad journey. It was a bitter journey.
Yes, I remember the Gallente-Carlari-War - we left the system - the Gallente occupied it. They have their homeworld there.
Ours seems to be lost. The proud name "Caldari Prime" is only left in brackets behind the Gallente naming of our homeworld planet. That hurts!
What I want to say is that every Caldari being proud of being a Caldari should at least once visit Caldari Prime. Let's understand it as sad journey back home to our roots which every Caldari should do once in his or her life. Absolutely!
Do you know the Gallente name of the system being the place for our former homeworld? Be honest to yourself: Many of us forgot the name - they simply ignore the fact that there were our roots. People have the tendencies to forget uncomfortable reality.
Face the truth! Face the fact that the system our homeworld is in, now has the Gallentean name "LUMINAIRE"!
GO TO SEE IT! VISIT YOUR HOMEWORLD! WATCH THE MONUMENTS IN ORBIT! FEEL THE SADNESS! LET THE RAGE GROW DEEP INSIDE YOU!
Meet Katrina Kirellii there and see what I have seen. And then team up with us...
I dunno whether we can change the universe. It seems hard to be. A guerilla war seems to be the only option. This is a high security system. You have to deal with this. A new strategy must be developed. Katrina told me about what she has done the last time. This is not the war a large fleet with bring the change. A strategy that makes the GM's know that a change must come from ingame - changing the whole future storyline!
I vote for setting up a new ingame communications channel (password protected) which is only open to Caldari pilots. The password must be protected that no spy gets knowledge of. Only trusted persons who have at least visited once Caldari Prime should get the invitation to join this secret communications channel.
A warm hello to Katrina Kirellii who was still in the system when I left again. My further task will be to inform our Caldarian people about the reality. About what must be done. Let's form a strong alliance in order to achieve our long-term objectives. What I am able to say at the currenty time is that my corporation - the VollWach Corp. - stands side by side with the Escorts of Eve.
A possible suggestion would be the "Caldari Prime Liberty Organization".
Also I am pooling some materials in Saisio for manufacturing ammo and stuff. If some miner (newbies welcome) wants to join me - you are welcome! Just contact me ingame. I have my Badger and my Osprey in Saisio. And there are some cool belts, too :) I could need some support to go mining (and maybe NPC hunting for freshen up the financial situation) in 0.4 systems, too.

Katrina, I did not forget what I saw in Luminaire (I really don't like to use this name more often...) This experience touched me deep inside. I feel for our folks and I really hope that we will become more and more the next day, weeks and months. GO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS! FACE THE TRUTH! AND ACT ACCORDINGLY!
Caldari Prime is our homeword and it's worth all this. I feel a warm shiver when I remember how Katrina and me, how we planned our evening dinner as a picnic on Caldari Prime. Katrina unfortunately lost her shuttle, so she uses a Gallente one now. Well, this is an advantage if you want to land on Caldari Prime without inference with the security forces there
Katrina is a magnificent pilot. She nearly took the shuttle down in free fall just to the ground! Catching it in the very last second. Whow! What a ride! We found a private place in the wild and she landed the shuttle. We had a wonderful picnic right down there on Caldari Prime - I will never forget this sunset! We had a great time - unfortunately the subject was so sad. We talked a lot about how to organize the fighting. And how to get ammo and missiles from Caldari space (namely Jita) to Caldari Prime.
If someone is going for a visit to Caldari Prime (I repeat last time: Luminaire system), check with Katrina before and ask what she needs - I know that a new Caldari shuttle would be a great gift, too - so she can trash the Gallente tin-box
Maybe you can take something with you if you go for Caldari Prime.
REACH OUT FOR CALDARI PRIME! FREE OUR HOMEWORLD!

Even if the Caldari do nothing else, they should visit Caldari Prime. They need to look at the wreckage called a monument no more impressive than the one in Jita earned in a "trivia contest". They need to look at the wreckage of the Caldari Prime Station. Finally they need to look at the Federation Station now governing that crawls with ineffectual smiling government drones.
Oh yes, they say that war is inevitable "with the Amarr" and merely smile sadly at you as one does a cloning accident victim.
I challenge you to visit our Homeworld and view this sight. Then see if you can turn your back on Caldari Patriot plees for assistance.

Pardon me for breaking character here but. You people will probably be able to do this attack on gallente's when the Faction Warfare is released later this year (Hopefully its realeased this year)
And then I will gladly fight to defend the system of Luminaire from you people. I cannot see how you can side with the likes of the Ammar Empire. I must admit, they have beautiful ships, But I cannot support their acts of slavery. The ammar empire must be stopped and to do that we must break their allies, The CALDARI!

Just a few days ago, there was an EVENT in the Luminaire System.
In this EVENT, a Serpentis Agent was doing something and was hunted down by Gallente slime in a systemwide hunt. CONCORD even showed up and gave us an inkling of their true colors.
I hope that some of you had the opportunity to join in this EVENT. If everyone listened to the captains who ask you to "go RP with me somewhere on a Pleasure Hub" or "just ignore everything that happens in the EVE Universe around you" then none of us would have an impact on the worlds around us. If you listen to them, you might as well join the Gallente slimelords. I have no respect for such turncoats.
People who tell you to get back in line or distract you from the EVENTS happening around you ARE the enemy. These are the people who prevent Caldari Prime from being ours again. Not to mention, some of these disruptions are Gallente slime trying to keep all the Caldari Patriots from harming their interests.
The Serpentis went out on the limb and invested around 75 million on a ship to try and direct EVENTS around them and make an impact on the Gallente Federation. The Gallente gladly scooped up the parts when they destroyed the Serpentis ship.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE LATELY???
WHY DO YOU DESERVE TO BE REMEMBERED???

Although your assistance would be appreciated, a true Patriot would want our Homeworld back without liberal slaving rights as you put it. Perhaps you might assist the Amarr side of this issue.
I am just stunned by your remark and it makes me question whether we have fallen so low as to need to resort to such perks to accomplish something noble.

We are not fighting as official representatives of the Caldari State. We are fighting as Caldari. This distinction means we cannot as individuals or an organization make such promises or demands. If unfortunate Gallente citizens were to fall into your hands and not meet their fate in a blaster beam, then one assumes their disposition would be up to you to decide.
If you can look into your soul and feel the need for the return of Caldari Prime to the Caldari, then you will find a place and peace when our goal is achieved.
If we as Caldari need to accept outside aid wherever it may be found due to the inaction of the official leaders of the Caldari State, then perhaps it is time to accept that fact. Whether it be a large alliance such as the Band of Brothers or the Amarr Imperial Fleet, we must accept ALL assistance.
The return of Caldari Prime is business - pure and simple.
