I petitioned like most and bsically got told it there fault but its my tough luck, then i got banned for coping and pasting what the gms responces were on the help channel. AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THIS KIND OF TREATMENT IS OUT OF ORDER!!! please give me your views

Now i have recieved a complet gme ban as i cant access my charicter at all. all because i complained about losing a ship caused by ctd

Barry, I could be wrong here but are you telling us the whole story? People just don't get banned from game for nothing. You must of done something really bad to get banned from game.

If he did, thats unacceptable, even if we arent getting the whoel story, it had better be a damn good one to justify bannign a customer (who has paid) from the game.

he probably blew his lid at support, but then thats not hard to do is it.
Some of the support staff, vols and GMs alike are excellent, they go above and beyond their "duty" and deserve our thanks.
some of them need a swift kick somewhere unpleasant. But then.. people are people i suppose. Just as you will meat asshats ingame and out of it, you will meet them when dealing with CS.

Actually I believe CCP can bann ppl for posting the contents of a Petition or something said by a GM. It really makes no sense to me. Gives me the feeling CCP are a bunch of commies. They do not take kindly to ppl letting the other players know that they claim to not keep any logs of combat or the times of node disconects and players deaths. Something that I do not believe but some I have been always told when I have peted in the past.
And yes I agree that it is wrong for them to have banned you.

It's against the rules to post conversations and/or emails from support/GM/Dev/Polaris publically on the forums or in chat (like help chat). I assume you lost your items in an accident of some sort? (CTD or something?).

i just checked into my char i can proform 1 task b4 getting shut out for example i can change my skill training. but i cant send responces to petition basically ive had my voice removed for 3day according to the new message ive got(maybe took pitty on me).But i do feel this is totally unwarented and yes i was justs a little heated about it but only after getting insufficient answes to my questions.

i lost them due to ctd. was in one piece b4 ctd in a milloin after with the best items on my ship not reapearing. The cost of clone sticks in my throat as well

Welcome to the happy world of ccp's "costumer service".
While they have pretty much stated that they don't replace ships lost by CTD, unless you can reproduce it and probably can get somewhat annoyed when a player repetantly insists on "his right", such a measure it out of order IMO.
Some offical response would be welcome here. Or perhaps a lock because "discussing game moderation is not allowed here"?

People WILL stop playing the game if this continues, its more annoying than being blown up by a pirate cos at least u can reason fair cop m8..
With CTDs and GMs refusal to replace anything will simply cause those customers who reguarly suffer from this to leave.. typically 1 or two losses, i guess youd carry on but a 3rd/4th/5th loss in sucession and i bet alot of people couldnt be ars*d with it.

Easy as pie, just keep posting the link. Depending on what hour of the day it's gonna take long before they remove/lock. As word spread that you can view gm logs at my site ppl will jus tknow to go there. á

How many times have they stated that they can¦t/won¦t replace stuff ?? How much time will you need to cram this fact into your brains? Some people never understand...
I¦m not saying it¦s right not to replace stuff for reasons like CTD or whatever. But on the other hand the GMs just CAN¦T do that as it would result in thousands of petitions per day. Every little peon would start petitioning for every little stupid item they THINK they¦ve lost due to CTD or whatever reason there may be.
Then egain you KNOW that you¦re probably not going to get your stuff back so why do you even bother talking about it? Send in a petition, receive an answer and get on with the game is that so freaking difficult? You also KNOW that you¦re not allowed to paste GM-convos to chats or forums so why in gods name are you doing it?
Don¦t break the rules and come here to complain about the consequences, that¦s just stupid.

He prolly used faul lang and insulted or spammed and flooded the help channel.. By obstructing the help given by Polaris to others or GM's to others, anyone deserves a ban.
I dont shout or yell at an GM when an issue cannot be fixed, i make a petition and ask for help when i need it.
When they dont, ok i am the irritating customer, not yelling, but complaining at the worst way ever... But shouting or spamming and flooding a channel? no.
From all i have seen from CCP, i can tell you, you would have had a perm ban instantly with Lineage, City of Heroes, or any other NCI product... (UO too).

surely thats not true? what would be the point of that?
assumadly techs are not deliberately attempting to mislead their gamers.
This game has by far and above the BEST tech support i have ever seen. personaly i have been nothing but exceptionally pleased with it. response time of 5 minutes at 3 am on sat morning. name me another game that does that.

You sir are an ass. No matter who you are speaking to it dosent give you the right to be abusive. If you become abusive to a tech support line, they ask you to calm down and then just hang up on you, this is the exact same thing: He became abusive, they hung up on him. I dont care how much you pay per month, you dont have the right to talk to anyone in an abusive manner.

My personal view is that there should be a system for dealing with it and dont tell me in todays high tech socity there is nothing they can implement to deal with these cases. + i know of one instance in the past of a player getting his ship replaced because of police podding him when he wasnt doing anything but trying to dock his unarmed indy (an yes he had a positive status). I no nothing about programing but why did he get his ship replaced and i never. Isnt this kinda the same thing or am i going off on a tangent

Very sad, considering the likes of Tank CEO only got a 48 (or was it 24?) hour ban for exploiting a serious game flaw knowingly, and thus caused a lot of grief for many newer players.. who may not be players anymore.
The GM/moderate who banned Barry should probably be repremanded, as if it was simply spam, a gag in the help channel would've been enough.
But of course, we don't have all the details...

yeah i cant remember exactly when the ctd happend if it was b4 12am thats a 4 day ban. Now i know i never handled the situation as well as i could of but i was just shocked but the attitued that was getting taken with me and now i dont feel at ease airing future grievencies as another ban might lead to it being permanent

Hey Baff's, when that guy gets done beating you with the stupid stick ask him if I can barrow it to give you a few whacks myself. Just because youÆre a customer does not give you any right or privilege to be abusive. If you came into my business and treated my employee's that way I would personally toss you out on your rear. What a totally moronic comment. Just because you pay 12 bucks a month does not give one the right to abuse a person. Now making comments like the one you did does allow others to respond to you in the same manner. One can be angry for things not going their way but you do not get abusive.

just to let you know anfter the down time on sunday the 7th i have full access again.(thank you) it did say the 9th b4 but suppose my apology after i cooled down meant something. im still not happy about all this but at least im not getting punished twice.
