I don't think many failed to notice the current flood of new alliances. When I was browsing through them, not only did I notice that many can up with the cash, but can't be bothered with getting a nice logo.
Now I know that the forums have a page displaying many of these. But by the time that page gets updated, and EVE's politics, it's not unlikely some might already been long dead by then 
So here for all people that, like myself, greatly appreciate the community's art that livens up this game: Alliance logos Collage
(the order was determined by a 8-letter algorithm: whatever!)

Nice collage !!
MC, NBSI, TSDS, KAOS, CI, Huzzah ( ) are my favorites, but on the whole, these logos are well designed.

Of all the logos, the Mercenary Coalition, Star Fraction and Razor are the ones that I like the most.
Does CCP have any problems with copyright for the Die Patrizier logo, since it's the SLDF logo from Battletech (FASA)?

I, of course, love my own alliance's, Veritas Immortalis is of course very cool.
I also like pirate coalition's and mercenary coalition's, they're very apt logos  Exuro Mortus and their orphan is also pretty awesome.

I think the best design is Ushra'Khan. The fist is very well done, it gives a nice symbol and display of power and might, but the upward angle of it also makes me think of a defiant nature. For me, that symbol just dominates and towers over the others, my eyes dart to it first.
Some runner ups would be Stain Empire's military stripes, where it shows an idea of an organized, military based alliance. Razor alliances personal suicide razor blade; cutting the life blood of it's enemies. Then lastly, Glamour Syndicates metallic kiss. If anything for it's flare.
Then an honorable mention goes to Freelancer Coalition because whomever designed that image and got it to pass, must really love the Miami Dolphins. Not original, but it is differant since the dolphin's missing his helment.

Well I love ours obviously it sums up BoB beautifully but I would say that
Ushra'khan wins for the simplicity of the symbol and what it represents.
I like Razor, MC and ISS as well.

Well this is actually the old logo, its was one of the first ideas that got scrapped immediately, I dont know how it made it so far to become our offcial logo
Anyway still a good laugh to be the buttmonkies for a while

To my knowledge our logo was submitted (including EVE-mail to t20) several weeks before Blood, but I think CCP art resources were being stretched somewhat to get the new bloodlines completed in good time. Hopefully we will see it in game soonÖ.

I like ASCN one, BoB one is quite cool and also the IRON one.

Yeah their symbol is indeed the Cameron Star(Star League and Terran Hegemony) from the battle tech universe. Not trying to yank their symbol from them as I personally love the idealism and I'm an old school Btecher but they probably should have selected a bit more wisely. CCP shouldn't have been expected to catch it unless their logo reviewers are BTech fans as I do not believe it either appeared in any of the video games or wasn't brought to prominance enough to be remembered.
As for copyright infringement, FASA sold all their rights to battletech to wizkid games and then closed their doors a few years ago. IIRC Microsoft has all rights to computer versions, aka mechwarrior series and mechcommander series. So you would have to talk to those 2 companies, wizkids might not mind, or they could care a great deal. Microsoft would probably cut you off at the knees just for the hell of it

tbh I don't think the issue of copyright should even be discussed, there are quite a few that are taken from RL organizations. Not to knock U'K, but I've seen that fist logo somewhere else. In the end nobody is really profitting from it, so it doesn't matter.

For originality and style, I'd say (in no particular order): Glamour Syndicate (skanky!), BoB (warlike), ISS (all business), MC (killer hand) and Curse Coalition (it's the angel wings).
Too many birds, stars and circles in the rest.

Must say still like Ushra'Khan and the Phoenix Alliance (in no particular order) logo the most... they're perfect as far as something like alliance symbol goes. Easy to recognize, clear message, would naturally fit on anything from alliance stationery to an outpost ^^;;

Some of them are a bit too detailed to make good logos, but I agree with most people here UK's logo is great. BoB's would be my favourite but I think the detail on the red background weakens it.
Also, are CCP requiring people to have their name in the logo somewhere? That's a shame if so, I think part of the reason the BoB one stands out is that it doesn't have normal text.

I love all the logos.
They fit in with the NPC logos, while having a unique slant that fits in with their own alliance.
Majority would fit in perfectly in a sci-fi movie or show.
I like the Curse Coalition and the eagle (one marked with a C, I don't know their name  ) and kaos. But I like all of them. I think each alliance should be proud of their logos, I like Stain Alliance's one too going by that banner. I can imagine F-E having a good one too.
Our one? Well The Rubyor set an orphan on fire for reasons only He knows. A Firey Death (exuro mortis), The Rubyor wouldn't let him die, so remains he does. Not dead, but not really alive. Just a burning orphan.

To those that complimented the SF logo, thank you. That's my work.
My personal favorites are Ascendant Frontier (it really looks like very appropriate as a pod-pilot protostate's symbol), Aegis Militia (excellent shape, excellent texturing, very well-suited for Amarr), Cyrene (wins nothing special for suitability, but it's a wonderful logo as such), and FSA (again, great logo as such. Wonderful lines, motion and composition).

Maybe CCP are waiting for it to be spell checked.....dont want to make any mistakes now guys do we :)
As for all the other logos i must say they all look great, and was really thrilled when the CC one was added in the last content patch, although i didnt make it myself (Tyrian was the one with the mad skillz there) but i was very pleased with how it ended up.
