Is anyone actually aware of the fact that China is the biggest growing country in the world, financially, and that there actually are Chinese people that have money?
They're humans just like the rest of us and they play for the same reasons.
There's a minor horde of farmers in both Europe and the states too, the only difference is the fact that the Asians managed to actually organize it instead of running around like headless chickens

Speaking of potatoes, why are they getting a server?
Somewhere in the dark corners of my head, called the brain, I have a faint memory of EVE having the strong-point in their ads with the fact that they have only one server for everyone

What's the point to be considered "the best", if you cannot compete with "the other best" because they're on a different server?
Well it's either a special for them, or no EVE at all.
The point still stands, this is just an exception due to lack of choices,
they're still 'the best'

Personally I think that as long as they use a semi-close alphabet to the Latin, they shouldn't be sharded..
Asia is ofcourse on thing, they got a buckload of strange symbols.
But Spanish and stuff, they could just as well be stuffed in with the rest, just translate the client.
In that case it's not much of a deal as they can still hook up with eachother and so on.
And.
We can still blow the living hell out of them.
Also they don't have stupid laws, hopefully.
All in all my personal opinion is that CCP should try to keep the low set of servers as low as possible..
Language isn't much of a deal as long as they get room.
(For that matter, just make starting systems for other languages so they can interact without a bunch of English speaking muppets around, and still move over and try to eat us alive)
