CCP is showing that love in what they gave to us. They didn't have to do it. but they did. It might be a small thing to some but to all it is something.

I'm somewhat amazed at how terrible a person you can be over a video game.
Those battles happened because CCP provided the medium for them to happen. CCP has every reason to brag about it. Yes, it wouldn't have happened without the players, but that is what those that participated were here for right? To be in a game provided by CCP that allows those things to happen. Those were just as much highlights of their continual work for the product they serve us as it was an event for them to brag about.

This is your reason for giving? Just to get stuff back? Given the reason for the charity that's really all sorts of messed up.

Actually I gave because I had space-money that could help out in RL, but that doesn't change the fact that CCP will use this for years to come as a point of pride and advertising.

... well considering that before I used to use shuttles to zip in and out of losec all the time. Never had a problem. Only ships small enough to lock a shuttle before it's in warp are the ones small enough for the gate guns to actually nuke. The ships big enough to tank the gate guns were too slow to lock my shuttle.

And that's a basic shuttle. Ok in theory someone could certainly tweak a cruiser or whatever for max lock speed, but then they sacrifice the all important DPS and tank. No one I ever saw went that route, and I don't blame them. Besides, only ten year old "lulz" nitwits would even care in the first place.

Now multiply that by "Leopard" and again, as I said before, you're a ghost. They'd have better luck trying to tag a covert ops ship.

And Jita? It's a shuttle, not a freighter. You're getting your ships confused.

Rancer? Maybe, but I honestly don't give a crap about Rancer so who cares?

Oh, and this is the part where you try to convince me that you're actually just the alt of some uberskilled Titan pilot with trillions of ISK and quadrillions of SP who's seen, done and knows everything about everything.

Well kids, I'm not a pro. And that's my point. These things are simple. So simple, in fact, that even a novice like me can pull it off. So spare us the e-peen ego trip. This is EvE and there's always a bigger ego than yours out there who can spout even more bragging BS about how leet they are.

This isn't about leet. This is about running like a bunny and not getting caught. And the Leopard is very, very good at this. So I like it.

This is irrelevant. If you give, then genuinely give. Not as some moral collateral, leverage or something to hold over someones head. It entitled you to none of the stuff you wanted, nor to any of the things you actually got.

And just as with all the prior gift ships this is special in that it is unique and limited in quantity and similarly function. The only exception being a ship given out to celebrate 10 years of EvE's existence, something similarly unnecessary on CCP's part. Technically this shuttle is better in function than the 5 year gift shuttle despite that being a milestone more worthy of recognition for the game.
