As far as I know, is 24th March here in the UK...makes it Friday 4 days from now...I'm trembling with anticipation! The only games that have had this effect on me in the past were the Hitman series, Thief series and anything BioWare. Morrowind was a great game, albeit with a few flaws, though it nonetheless took nothing away from it.
I'm hoping Oblivion takes what Bethesda created with Morrowind and just makes it bigger, better looking and sounding with more story and open-ended bits. That's what Morrowind was renowned for I think. Even if it's *more of the same* it will be a great game, but with the improved AI, GFX, combat/magic system I expect it will be even greater. I already have BS5 so will have to find something else to train! Hehe...actually it probably won't make much difference to my in-game presence, I'm rarely on these days.

Reading the posts about those who already have it and have started playing it...you're gonna make me cry  Please hold off your shouts of glee for just one day! I'm getting it tomorrow  HMV and overpriced gold coin 4tw!
I hope my BFG 7800GTX, 1gig D-DDRII450 and 3.6ghz p4 is up to it

It is Oblivion Day but sadly idn't dawn sunny and bright as I thought appropriate. I have to wait till not only I finish work for the day, but for my brother to get home with my copy of the game he's getting for me. And there's a family thing on tonight...anniversary or some such  I don't know what to do.

Where do you find the shadowmare?
I've been busy with just mages guild missions...made it to wizard so far..got Wizards Fury spell I can't use till i get higher destruction skill :( Have a DnD cleric style character...heavy armour, great healing spells and a sword the size of a small child :) I'm lvl 25 and haven't done the main story beyond the kvatch gate.
