there is a news that ccp will make hawk to be a missile assault ship, so they actually have 2 useful assault frigs, but amarr still with that 1 mid, 5 low, can't npc, can't pvp retribution flying around without any use. and look around, they improved gallente drones, and what did amarr get? nerfed gank geddon. Look at hacs of gallente, 2 powerful ones with all kinds of advantages. and what does sacrilege get?? nothing.
i wonder how amarr is the largest empire in this eve space? 60% of space is under their control, more appear to me is 6% if with the armament they have right now. i hope ccp will change a bit about amarr.

well, i still love their ships, gorgerous ones. and i love the story about the empires. i am more like a role play player. that is why i am still sticking to amarr. oh and about caldari, i think their big ships actually not as good as gallente's as well. so if i switch, i'd rather gallente. minmatar's ship gives me the creeps. every time i see one, i wonder how long it is gonna last b4 it falls apart.

The sac has its uses. The Ships and Modules forum is the place to discuss that so I'll not go into it here. I will just say this. If something got nerfed, it was too powerful. If something got boosted, it was not powerful enough. It's called balance and right now the amarr ships seem to be balanced with every other race.

You obviously havn't flown the Retrib in PvE. It rocks serious ass. Lot of my friends hunt rats in 0.0 in retribs with great success. Yes, its hard to loot, but meh. And we are talking about Sansha rats and not Angels.

i tried retri once, and got blown to pieces by a gallente cruiser.....
after that i know there is nothing i can do, so i quit assaults for amarr and concentrate onto the big ships, and then i found out geddon is nerfed....
right now, i am clueless what's gonna happen next......

as for the OP: amarr are very far from useless, and the statement (by tomB) about AFs in kali was that "Blasters, the phoon and AFs are all getting their love in kali" or something similar. it never said "We're screwing over amarr in kali!" or "we're only boosting the caldari AFs, cos we hate amarr" or something like that

 oh, also for the sac. have u guys seen all the other races' hacs? they always use one as a gun boat, and the other one for their racial skills. such as gallente, deimos is gun boat, and ishtar is drone command ship.
so b4, sac is a half breed missile and turrets. ppl complained, so they said they changed. lets see, it is still a missile and turrets hybrids and now just shift benefits from missile to turrets and make it less useful....so zealot is the gunship, can u just think of something else for sac and make it useful?
and apoc, lol, i have no words whatsoever to describe my feeling about that ship. i can only say it is a disgrace for that ship to be tier2 battleship. old times, it was a faiely good tanker. and now it does not have either tank or firepower abilities. it makes me think about somebody's signature all the time, a big banana with turrets on the side floating in the space......
i wonder if ccp ever gonna notice this thread....i hope they do

i never say that they hate amarr, but i guess the other races just whinning more than amarr does. so i have to stand out to make sure that amarr is still the no.1 race in the game.

are you kidding? Did you just choose to forget the fact that tachyons are getting a quite a big boost to make ammar bships have a huge burst damage? Talk about selective reader "oh boo hoo ammar are getting nerfed why everyone else gets better" geez you guys get one of the biggest boosts in the upcoming patch

Why is it that every time one race is boosted, some people from other races feel the need to whine?
Amarrians have their share of very good ships. Apoc, Geddon, Zealot, Absolution, Retribution (YES it's good, but it can't tackle. Boo hoo. Retri + intie = sex), punisher, maller, etcetera.
Sure, there are some rotten apples, mostly among the Khanid ships, but personally I belive those are underrated, but I understand that Amarrians are a bit peeved since they (usually) don't have any missiles skills...
And to the op, why is it mandatory to boost Amarrians every time you boost anyone else? There's a reason you see so many amarrian ships around. And amarrians got a boost in the patch, you got Tach love...
So in other words, do you want cheese with that whine?

lol, well, u guys have ur reasons and i have mine. but at least i give out the facts that show the imbalance. can u guys put on what u guys think of? upcoming patches r still upcoming. it means nothing at all for now. who knows what will change at that time? they boost the tachy and nerf something else. who knows? oh for the whinning, if nobody whines, why ccp is doing all the patches and stuff? so give me a break, stop saying that whinning is a bad thing.

Amarr ships make the fastest and prettiest explosions, fact. Geddon wasn't nerfed, the 8 HS2 setup was dumb and skewed the game, i am only dissapointed i never got to try one in full combat before the nerf.
I still fly them every day and have a boatload of kills with them.
Apoc isn't as defined in its role as the geddon but it still makes a good ship for sniping/capwar/tanking.
When you consider the fact that the Retri can explode any other AF provided theyre locked down with pure firepower, then you can see its not a bad ship at all.
Vengeance is still utter utter poo. You'd think a Vengeance could kill 2 inties, wouldnt you...Nope! And there is nothing the Sacrelidge can do that the Zealot can do much better apart from heavy tackling, and the Maller can do the same job as the Sac for a fraction of the cost.

WTF Amarr got some of the best ships ingame.
Armageddon for example, a tier1 that outdamages most tier2 by far. Cheaper then a HAC aswell :)
Zealot is great. So are thier t2 BC e.t.c.
Just cause they dont have a good AF doesent mean the race sucks

Presenting your hypothesis, backed by some solid evidence (have a look at Sarmaul's comparison of autocannons on the ships and mods forums for a good example) may get things changed.
A FEW SHIPS that weren't all that stunning have been altered. Personally I like all of them, because the ships in question were under used.
