Okay, apparently Im doing something wrong.

How does one go about scaning for these stations and roid belts?.
All Iever seem to come up with are the known stations, and then a plethora of hits,wreckage and containers with no distance listed.

Id love to learn the fine art of scanning.

I have the multispectral probes and launcher, but I never seem to turn anthing up with it.
And advice?.
Anyone know a good place to practice that will give results?.
