greetings Cold Blade. Looked for you yesterday off and on during the day and evening, but did not find you online. I am very interested to learn a little more about your corp. I have been fishing around checking out corps and your previous thread caught my eye a couple days ago. Just activated my account last night after 12 days into the free trial, but this guy is only a few days old after retiring my first guy at 7 days. My main concern, taking into account all the stuff you said in the other thread about what you do as a group, would be about what the corps main gaming times are? I am late evening EST, mainly 9pm-midnight, with varying hours before and after that during the week and am definitely looking for a corp that is very active during my game times. I will continue to try to track you down ingame.
Also, I read through most of your linked website. Some extremely good info there for newer players like myself, so I recommend everyone take a look at it, especially if you are an information sponge like me! I especially liked the pvp and fleet operations write ups. The ingame tutorial on system scanners was not exactly comprehensive, but I messed around with it last night after reading about it on your site which filled in a lot of blanks in scanner usage. So if nothing else, I have already benefitted from your corp =)

8. Follow the following suggestions from COLD BLADE, Vice-CEO of RESA:
Do NOT go into LOW SECURITY SYSTEMS (0.4 - 0.0)
Do NOT go hunting alone anywhere.
Do NOT fly with nor gang with persons not in RESA.
Do NOT afk (away from keyboard) mine in 0.8 to 0.5 systems.
Do NOT take slow, big ships out to gate run for missions.
Do NOT neglect your LEARNING skill training.
Earn isks $$$ by mining, hunting npc & doing missions.
Do NOT refine your own ores & sell on market.
Ask Flak Lypa by EVE mail to refine your ores for you.
Work hard for 60 days and you will reap big rewards in 0.0 space!
Use TEAM SPEAK when online. Get a microphone/headset.
Talk to graduates of RESA on Team Speak!
Get a report on the goodness* of 0.0 space!
*NPC RAT bounties are a milllion isks & up each rat
and you are paid 4000 isk for one piece of ore!!
Be sure to complete and return the SURVEY posted on this website.
If you decide to leave the game, please donate
all your stuff to Cold Blade to help other trainees.

Is it true that the npc rats have bounties over one million each?

Yes...rats in 0.0 are routinely one million to two million isks in bounty. A good ratter can earn 20 million in a hour or so. Solo ratting for the new player is not suggested. Battleship best for ratting. And, it is safest to fly with a buddy.

No...a barge is nice, but any ship can mine with a battleship tanking the spawn.
My favorite mining cruiser is the OSPREY.
Add 3 miner II to it and you've got a skill cheap
mining hog.
