I use paint, personally. For animated sigs, I use Ulead GIF Animator.

Use Photoshop if you want something fancier. I'm just a stickler for simplicity, tbh

If you really want to get fancy, you can use PHP MySQL and GD to create a signiture like mine :D
All of my crappy poetry sits in a mysql database. :D :D :D

How come your sig constantly changes? How do yo cycle it?

Photoshop -> Layers for the win ^__^. I have access to it at work though ... I wouldn't recommend buying a copy just to make your sig :p

Gimp, Photoshop, Fireworks or Corel Photopaint all give good results if you're willing to learn how to use them.
Photoshop would be my weapon of choice.

Is it? Havent used it in about a year to be honest, used to love it. Photoshop was well worth taking the time to learn though, its much easier to use and faster than Corel was.
All subjective really. Everyones tastes will vary and all that. Still, glad to see good old Corel is still in the game.
