Looking over the new data on Sisi, it appears that the T2 Triage module is a little lacking in comparison to the T2 Siege module.
T2 Siege gets 20% damage increase over T1 Siege
T2 Triage however just gets 1 extra target and a longer targeting range (which since not everyone will have the required skills it will keep the max range of repping for fleet combat to around 50km anyways.)
Adding another more useful bonus to T2 Triage would be nice eh? Maybe 10% extra remote repping?

well i was thinking to make the triage last longer like -10% cap need for the modules during triage you want the triage to be as useful as possible right well just a thought. |

I think the issue here is more along the lines of why triage isn't really used. I've dropped into triage only once on TQ, and that was with a suicide setup.
I think T1 (and T2 respectively) should also have an increase of resistances to itself in addition to the local bonus, maybe +5%/+10%. The reason is because the minute you drop into triage you are primary regardless of what else is on the field, and if there are supers expect a doomsday as soon as they see the yellow glow.

So the siege module still says -50% tracking even though it's actually -92.5%?
Still needs to be fixed then. Either change it to -92.5% or give the dreads -50% as an additional buff. |

The thing I dont get is the increased targeting range in triage. What good is 20% improved targeting range when your reps only go out 50km? If it were 20% increased rep range... that could be useful |

Yup, you get a 20% cap reduction on remote assistance modules for t2 triage - that's the new kicker, available now on sisi. |

They still have the 20% targeting range bonus which seems completely useless |

simple fix for this
+ 20% Resist bonus to shields armor and hull
- 20% - Cap Needs for all capital mods
- Unable to be DD'd While in triage
And/Or you could also add a bonus that doesnt allow them to be nos/neuted
If you did this.. yes they would be strong but even then you only are looking at around a 20-25k DPS tank 3 nyx's could break that without much issue.

A nos/neut immunity bonus would be very bad, as it'd make W-space carriers nigh-on invincible under quite a few circumstances (Imagine an Archon with this sort of base tanking ability AND its resists buffed by a Class 6 Wolf-Rayet).

Good point about wormholes, So no neut Immunity but i really dont see a whole lot of issues with everything else... as 99% of these would be used in 0.0 or low sec. im not saying that WH Space shouldnt be balanced, but with a few heavy neut battleships that archon will go down without much issue... The whole idea behind this, is to make them not a "oh **** i have to suicide to save a dumbass super pilot" kind of ship..... i think everything up here does that.
Again in 0.0 tho with the shitload of mother ships that are around this thing would still die even with a neut immunity pretty quick.

Maybe even somewhat more broader like capacitor recharge get a -50% reduction for the triage II module. It is possible to let your shield booster or armor repper running as long as you want in triage if you dont get neuted or do any logistics. If you do your job you cap-suicide yourself by doing it and give one or two fleet members a few seconds more life on the field. And since you are in triage you cannot recieve any kinds of assistence and have to decide if you spend your last drops of capacitor to a fleet member in need and then wait ages doing nothing but cap yourself out for one or two cycles of logistic on your hands and let your carrier die. |

How out of touch with reality do you have to be to think that a 20% targeting range bonus is useful in any way, shape or form (potential exception, C6 magnetar with -50% lock range ~tinfoil hat comment directed at two step~).
A perfect Moros pilot (sup) just got a 70% damage bonus. A perfect triage pilot just got...20% targeting range (whoop-dee-*******-do), 20% reduction on cap usage for modules that don't actually keep it alive. |

I like this. When I first saw the T2 Triage Module on Sisi, I was like "Incredible!" But when I checked out its stats, I was like "So I can target a few more fleetmates at a longer range. So how does this longer range help me exactly...?"
Seriously, CCP, a longer targetting range is a joke. It would make sense if we could have drones/fighters out to use that longer targetting range, or better yet, give us a RR'ing range bonus to accompany the target range bonus.
Edit: I havn't been on Sisi a while nor is it working properly (can't check item info on anything) so I may be talking about outdated information, sorry. |

In the Triage Module II description it says: "Capacitor need reduction for remote assistance modules: -20 %" This means assistance modules need an extra 20% energy or 20% less energy ? In EFT 2.14.3 it looks to me like that is extra 20%

Needs to be said again and again, 20% bonus targeting range is useless.
20% bonus RR range would be a fair bonus imo. |

Have you ever used triage before? Obviously triage is not a 'cap friendly' choice.

Using latest EFT ( 2.14.3) AND latest Pyfa (1.1.2) With "All skills to 5" i create a chimera fit. I put a Capital Shield Transport in a high slot , CAP is -169 (lasts 9m 10s) I add a Triage Module II , and the cap of the transported goes to -270 lasts (5m 5s). If i deactivate the triage module, cap goes back to -169.
I dont see how triage can have energy reduction ... The in-game description is poor: "Capacitor need reduction: -20%" .. is this the same with "Capacitor need: +20%" or not ? :)

It's working correctly. Triage halves the cycle time which would mean double cap/s consumption if it wasn't for the cap usage reduction bonus. |

Bump because it's needed.
Triage II is effectively worthless to train right now.
T2 siege gets a bonus to damage (because that's what siege is used for) doesn't it make sense that Triage II would get a bonus to remote, and maybe even local, repping? Or at least, like others have said, give a reduction to cap usage?
Just some food for thought. |
