I have a theory that forum moderators are just software scanning the forum for inappropriate posts. When the 'software' finds a post it then pulls out a generic response from a database. Thats my theory anyway

no becase a lot of them iirc post stuff about stuff, ie they post jokes/comments/ideas and not just lock threds.
and it is much easier and cheaper to give the job to the LARGE player base that would do it for free, and it would be more accurate

Damn, you foiled my evil plan!
Now that the truth is out, I might as well say it all.
The moderators are a team of 6 Tachikomas in a hidden storage facility. They use far more than 6 moderator accounts to avoid suspicion, as a mod on 24/7 could obviously not be a human. They claim to recruit more through the ISD program, but none are actually accepted--it is merely a front to hide the truth.

If you didnt already know the forum moderator software is the pre-runner (the blueprint if you will) of the future Agent Smith software used by the Matrix movies.
