What do you all think are the most respected corporations in EVE? They can be respected for anything - honor, valor, piracy.
Please don't mention your own corporation :)
I also realize it's very personal and subjective.
My short list:
Grumpy Old Farts
Oracle
Techell

I'm not so sure about Techell..
They only got big because they withhold a Miner II BP, in turn they make tons of cash off of idiots who are paying 2.5m for the basic tech level II mining laser (even though they will be dropping in the next patch or two off of .4- pirates..).
Lots of people joined, enough sellings going on to easily refuel their pilots, and then some..
*shrugs* but thats just my opinion..

... OK, so i don't mine, but... surely with increased output of the lvl.2 laser you can make more than those 2.5m extra before the 'next patch or two' materialize, which would make those who buy them at such price anything but idiots?.. o.O

The Amarr corporation PIE has my vote. Great roleplayers and fighters. The fights with Oracle are done without real hatred and are done with honor.

Naginata (Miso's Corp) - if it has Miso in it its gotta be good and she would kick my head in if I said anything different

offc the corp I joined,
theyre a lovely bunch of lads who actually made a new forum department on my request ( so I can spam more there ;) )
I also respect Pie, for decalring war on a corp that travels alot through their space. Its hard for them to mine afk liek the rest does.
I also want to mention CoC, I miss being chased by them  .
And all the people from Xanadu who can live with their directors, I think they remove their own opinion or something to follow orders blindly without a good reason.

Always nice to know a pirate's opinion.
Is this how jealously sounds? Or is it just trolling?
You conveniently leave out here two minor details I feel compelled to add:
- The fact we bought our miner II blueprints. And that price of those two easily justifies the price of 2.5M. It would be nice to actually have actually recovered the big hole on the corp wallet before pirates start dropping these.
- The fact Techell already was a major player in the (battle-)ship manufactory business BEFORE we bought those miner II blueprints. I think that was because we try to maintain fair prices both for ships as for minerals.
Anyway my two isk:
- Oracle & PIE Inc. for RP-ing in a RP-unfriendly game.
- InfiniCorp, worked with them, very nice people.
- Techell (a bit biased here)
I would add some piratecorps if it weren't 90% griefing morons and only 10% that actually deserve respect (though in that case often deserving a LOT more then the average player)
And I wished I could add some of the prominent Alliance members here, but sadly I won't do that as long as the NPC pirates haven't kicked them out THEIR territory.
And last but not least: TTi . You just gotta give them props for succeeding in becoming the most hated corp without even podding a soul. Stavros is not jealous for nothing.

Techell were big already due to battleship sales, not that I'm saying having Miner II BPs hasn't helped them a lot mind you :-)
I have a lot of respect for SI, Oracle and PIE for sure - and plenty of others too!

m0ooooo  Any run in I have had with them has been fun (altho strangely I have never met Stav) and one of their members took 2 hrs out of his time one night so long ago to answer all my n00b questions in a Convo when I first started (he will remain nameless otherwise it may damage hi rep )
TTi for becoming the most hated, most flamed and most talked about corp in the forums.
Techell for keeping a deal they arranged with me even after it turned out they could have made a better deal with someone else (thanks guys)
And Oracle and PIE for making me laugh in the good ol local channel in Nets on more than one occasion - keep up the good work.

YOu miss me/us :) Trouble is Merd Fal and Acuna are all on hols which only leaves me holding the CoC fort :( The woes of a small corp I guess! Still we have 2 missions in planning stage :)
And I got raped by 4 mega BB at Jan the other day being rather a bit to gung ho (even for soul) trying a new tactic LOL! Yep it failed spectaculary so ive spent 3 days re-equipping my spare scorp LOL
Soul makes mental note not to take all his stuff and scatter it across 4000 systems in future LOL anyone got an Indi to get it all for me??

TTI, like or hate you have to respect what they have accomplished.
m0o, for the same reasons.
Space Invaders, though a shocker to some, I have learned over my time here to respect thier demands rather than immediate destruction.

Techell was big LONG before they had that Miner II BP.
How do you think they were able to afford the 1.5bill ISK per BP price tag on two BPs if they weren't?

hehe, finally someone mentions MASS, I was about to mention it in this post, but someone already has  , and I do respect some of the Pirate Corps, one's including SiN, and The Paladins of the Red Skull, I have to say Paladins are very skilled players and I wouldn't mid doing a 1 v 1 with one of them.

Politics: Interesting, probably Jericho Fraction i mean they have managed to gather pretty much entire universe behind them, and thats what politics is all about.
Industry: Techell, no substitute, first corp to have all BS BP's kudos, massive achivement, well done.
RolePlaY: Oracle/PIE - if i retire i'm joining Oracle :)

Rona by far and away are the greatest corp in eve
I have never come across such a sence of teamwork and family while at the same time striving to be the best in aany gaame eve included
however my branch off corp 1337 Llama is gonna be the most powerful one day we'll put an end to M0o and other pirate scallywags just you wait ..... we started a few weeks ago with myself and 2 friends we are working to get us all into thoraxes and save up for a corp battleship .... we have also just started recruiting .... contact me Alfius Togra, Hazza or Quentyn forrest in game or email me @ [email protected] for info =)

I don't respect corps I respect players. More than likely every corp has someone who is less than trust worthy. Also even the most despicable probably have at least one good guy or girl in them.

Firstly there are a lot of corps that master one side of eve, either the pvp or industrial sides.
Few corps manage to master both:
Industrially and pvp skill the leader is still m0o.
first with bship first with bship kill..
says it all.
No other corp has come close to being masters of both of eve's domains (industrial, pvp)
Respect to all my fellow m0o bretheren although sadly I am now the last..
Other corps worthy or respect are few and far between..
The original sinister crew were fearsome and prolly the most dedicated ew specialists i had ever seen again they were masters of industrial as well as pvp aspects, respec!
RUS are well, just plain bloody scary, stacks of coooridination and skill, stacks of industrial backing and long term planning. In short i'm glad they are friends ¼_¼ respec to the russian massif!
Evolution are starting to become worthy of respect as well, their abondonment of OOH LOOK WE CAMPED YOUR STATIN FOR 5 HOURS TACTICS in favour of OHH LOOK WE RAN AROUND VENAL AND GANKED 200 SHIPS TACTICS, is a good start.. who knows they might even be good sometime soon ¼_¼ sutty tries so hard bless his little cotton socks and homo has nearly mastered l33t speak in 30 days...
Stain alliance corps are a joke cept for interstellar elite or whoever they are now. Never forget first time I went into stain and had 8 cruisers on my ass in 5 mins..
TTi are bloated joke as are Xanadu, too big for their own good.
Techell whilst masters of industry surely, (yes I KNOW they were before the miner 2) are not pvp'ers and as such get a half respect from meh.
Oracle and that corp they are always fighting are weird cos they like rp pvp, which is weird but i suppose what ever floats your boat, so they can have some respec as well..
Thats it i'm all out of respec so the rest of u suck, deal..
