All we need is some US company to take this operation over, bring servers in the US, take the bandwith cap off, drop a few hundred mil into CCP and we should be ok.

they could sell their eyes to David Bowie wannabies, they only need one to code, they don't need depth perception.
Also, they can have and sell children, that is pretty profitable.

Management is to blame.
On the other hand you have such companies as Squaresoft and Sony that keep the games rocking.
Personally though, the best games are produced by small teams of people that don't sleep.
