am after a group of peeps to harass a 0.3 system in the everyshore region.
10mil per barge kill confirmed with screenshot or fraps. 100mil bonus if more then 20 barges killed within 1 week
will pay war dec fees if deemed neccasary.
some resistance expected mainly 3-4 month players in bs and bcs. they normally only swarm once a few barges are killed.
now 20 barges in a week may seem like a lot but as there is nearly 20 pos in this one system, not much choice or their pos go off line
please send offers of interest in game

This is a pointless operation, what do you hope to accomplish with this? To prove only points that miners are not to mine at all in low security? Where is the logic in this operation? What did they ever do to you?
I personally think this is a pointless thread, obviously, if your a respected PvP'er you won't get dragged into flaps' personal problems with that system.
I've been there, they are a fine group of people. Why do you want to ruin that?

Edited by: Tiridus on 28/03/2006 22:32:46 He should probably explain the name of the contractor, and the reason why he wants the barges killed, maybe he should add its a dispute about the contractor putting low ice prices so they wouldnt sell to him...
Would also like to add about the POS's... its not the only system with ice you dolt.

A statement to any player(s) willing to partake in this offer.
This is a personal grudge that the origial poster has against a couple locals of the system in question, and DOES NOT constitute harassment of innocent players who had nothing to do with the event that triggered this vendetta.
To all that want to know, yes Don Carn'age has been terrorizing the system for the past couple days, in which he lost a tech 2 equiped raven (one was replaced, and he lost a second one also), a tech 2 fitted retribution, and just recently a tech 2 fitted thorax.
My question is directed at Don... Is all this really necessary? You've killed maybe, 3 barges, and even IF (I stress the IF because I'm not sure if the OP has the money he's offering to begin with) you get paid the 30 million, you have lost so much more that it was worth.
In conclusion, this isn't a threat or a challenge to the people wanting to take up this offer, but a warning that if you do I let it be known that you may or may not be paid for your trouble, and that the locals of said system will not be pushed over so easily.
P.S. -- The defense network for the Everyshore region has become much more coordinated that the OP remembers, and attacks on players will not be taken lightly. |

The Aspi-Vore has also stood to aid in the defense network of certain key systems including the one Don is operating in. We will deal with things like we always have, quick and on the dot. ___ _"Akkubai Angels" - Book 1 of My EVE Novel_ |

sounds like a starter contract for some small merc corp who are just starting out.
Seems the whole idea is upsetting to some.
Oh well.
Not a contract I would take but I am sure there are others who will

Nono, no one's "upset about the whole idea"...
Actually, it's the idea of said locals organizing and actually fighting back in low sec areas where they operate that is far more upsetting to some.

Thankyou for your replies wether waranted or not.
Don took it upon himself to start his campaign on the locals and has been paid for what he has done todate, although i may need to review the rate due to the lack of minning now occuring in this system.
for those that care this system use to be a nice little haven of unlikable scum and i want to return it too its natural state.
Why may yuou ask why i want to do this?, I say why not Some have aims of owning a navy raven or a pos in 0.0 i just want to do the negative sec people a favour and remove these blobbing carebears from local in alachene.
And create a spot for fellow pirates to relax and savour a quafe or exotic dancer for a few thrills.
it looks like i will need to step up my campaign and am still calling for corporations to harass this system and in the near future start war decing the more vocal minners amongst them.
I will reply to emails sent this evening when i get home from work.

Big Flaps... You realize of course that Alachene is a deadend system for pirates that cannot enter a .6 system.
Alachene is a .3 system in the middle of Everyshore with 2 stargates that lead into .6 space. Don Carn'age, for example, is now at a -8.5 security status and can't leave the system except for in a pod or in jump clones. So if the pirates that Big Flaps speaks of are interested in doing any serious piracy, then they should reconsider using Alachene as a system.
Besides, if you want to pirate in anywhere near Everyshore there are plenty of good, low sec systems only a few jumps out from Alachene.
I also don't think that Big Flaps is honest about his goals, because I've found several frozen corpses of the little bugger floating around Alachene , and I don't think that someone who dies that much in a system would want any MORE pirates to come and kill him.

If you're a pirate, why are you paying others to do your job? Although this does explain why you're protecting your mains identity
With no disrespect to the inhabitants of the system, they are largely industrialists and their defences are not the greatest. Don will know this as he was playing eve in the same room as one of the defending corps players (since ejected I believe)
As for "blobbing carebears"...how this makes me laugh when pirates speak of this. Blobs are often necessary these days to protect a system from pirates to apply the needed warp scram points on the pirate. I've no doubt you'd much prefer people 1vs1 you with a gimped ship with warp scrams in all the mids but at some point, you'll have to face reality and accept this won't happen. In addition, they're largely industrialists, so blobbing is surely fair game for them, as they are only protecting their interests.
I would suggest you move onto a system more suited to your capabilities, but the name of such a system is currently eluding me.

suppose i should reply.
don has started the contract and is having fun despite the losses i have replied to the other corps showing interest.
don will continue to saturday then another corp will hopefully take over.
im am not in a position to hire high end merc corps but i will upgrade my offer to war dec the inhabitants in ALACHENE understandably i would like a part payment scheme to eliminate the cnahces of being duped by the local residents

****y smack-talking miners? sub-par pseudo-pirates with personal vendettas? merceneries losing hundreds of millions of isk a day chasing barges?
this is why i get up on mondays.

Why are you making such a big deal out of this? As someone already pointed out Alachene is not a suitable home for pirates, mainly because they'll be stuck in there once their sec status drops below what they need to enter 0.6 systems. You'd be a lot better off picking a system in 0.0 or someplace else that actually leads somewhere besides high-sec empire space.
Smack talking aside, this does smell like a disgruntled pirate trying to justify his thirst for revenge. So you got podded trying to blow up miners - sh*t happens, it's a game, life goes on. Either pick a different system for your proposed pirate haven, or just be honest and say "I got podded by those evil miners and I want to make them pay".

Edited by: Venia Sevari on 31/03/2006 23:07:36 If you think thats bad, you don't want to see the Alachene local when he gets on, all the miners trying to talk sense into him. They actually give a darn about him, despite he wants to turn their life upside down and ruin them all.
So, with that being said, I'm almost to a point of hate with this guy because he doesn't make sense, is a coward, and ultimately, will not admit a darn bit about it.
Consider that a reason why you shouldn't take on his offer, hehe.
