I'm going to assume that anyone looking to take down a crow will be using a destroyer or smaller class ship for this.
I've found that a remarkable number of people completely forget that you can manipulate other peoples ships when they're using the orbit option. A good blast from an afterburner in the direction of the crow will cause it to automatically turn away. In a straight line. Now i'm not saying that you can kill it in one go although i suppose it's possible. Do this a couple of times using the straight line as an oportunity to fire your weapons and hit you can either take it down if they stay (choosing to or not) or run away. Either way you would win.
Of course it's not always going to work, if the crow can tank you or you still can't hit it (because of range or tracking) then you will probably lose but it does work sometimes. The sudden change in speed can also offer an oportunity to use a web but these are few and brief.
Just my thoughts, be kind :)

The problem isn't the crow, it's that there are too many stupid ceptor pilots that fit for one situation and cry when they get owned
