Edited by: Wrok on 29/03/2006 14:05:02 Nah does'nt work liek that bro... IM sure everyone understands living in 0.0 aint ezy...THeres a time and place for everything but for you to have 15kills...thats about 1 night for me back when wuz there...so most likely you npced more then you actully pvped... Dude even if they had killed you Shinra and M corp as a whole never claimed to be anti pierats nor mercs or any of the sort so with that said...whats the big deal your dis-loyalty was your down fall...maybe next time you'll join an NPCING CORP instead of joining a corp thats part of 1 the biggest PVP Alli. within then game.

In this case that comment is not right. I have helped my corp members a lot, and i have done a lot to the corp to. But not as much as the corp wanted me to do. But anyways..

PWNED
If you NPC so much just by another Ship and shutup.
You get given the mod's back after appealing to peoples good nature and after recieving them back decide to try your best to slate them on the public forums, spineless.
Good luck finding an allaince. I'd imagine your -10 on more than one by now.
If all you want to do is NPC i suggest you rough it in your Uber ship to the agent. |

Forget what lack of teamwork the guy has done for you. EVER corp has guys that simply dont show up often enough. But ganking him in his CNR while he was coming out to HELP YOU is just plain wrong.
Regardless of how little he contributed you should not have ganked him after he came out to help one of your guys in a belt. You'll never catch me or any of my guys doing that to a fellow corp mate who want to leave. If they cant find a role in my corp then i wish them luck and goodbye. What you guys did was just plain low...

Yeah I think the bit with the Navy Raven + several billion worth of mods kind of proves this a little bit wrong
If you wanted to have a side project for your game to make an uber faction fitted ship, you should have made it your SECOND priority, not your first. And that is where the problem lies, your first loyalty is to your ship and mods, rather than to the players in your alliance. __________________ Inappropriate link description. --Jorauk mods - pwning sigs since 1943 |

Well in my point of view if a person doesnt contribute to the corp just kick him out simple.....
I dont think was a cool thing to do since he didnt stole anything from the corp, just kick him out give him 24h to move out and thats it, move on.
But call him in a belt and kill him.....hmmm.....dunno m8 look a very poor thing to do.

Ofc i can mine, but i don't actually have mining skills.
And about that Navy Raven, i have had it for like 7 months now, also a loooong time before i joined LV, so i got the money for it when i was taking missions in empire, but that's long time ago.
And no Velios did the wrong thing, since they didn't warned me at all, and if they have done that i would probably still have had my Navy Raven.
So i say it again, i got no warnings at all, so how could i know how it was working for me in the alliance then. Since normaly alliances gives warnings about things like that.
But that's how i look at it.

You saying he came out there to kill the guy asking for help? Or he just came out to watch him die? No he probably came out there to legitimatly help the guy... Ganking him like that is not cool...
If i want to hunt down an old corp mate i wait till he's out of the corp then go on a man hunt. Whats described in this post and admited to is extremely low.

Hey,
So basicly whats lamer?Setting up a npcer/carebear in your own corp to kill him..then post it on KB.Or people that agree to a 1 vs 1 and invite friends to gank someone?
Very thin line if not M. Corp being shadier. You asked the dude to help you, and them ganked him at a belt like some CSS spawn camping cool guys.
You wanted to give him this real sense of pvp, then warp him into a gate camp or something that teachs him.Not just ganking him for bettering your mood on that day.
YOU ARE LAME, M.Corp in this instance for sure.
WW
P.s. nice on givin the mods back to his 1 bil. isk ship you ganked.

Originally by: Velios Yeah it ended badly for that chap. I've never done anything like that before but I felt it was my duty to teach that guy a cold hard lesson about what it means to be in a 0.0 corp.
He had no sense of loyalty to the corp he was in, and no respect for the one he intended to join! I am certain ATUK would not someone that was only joining them to do missions on their books.
Nightmare contributed little to M.Corp, rarely seen in ops unless begged, showed no interest in the alliance and really only cared about the next Gisti module on his shopping list and what he would have to do to get it.
I said to him "It's your game mate, play it how you like, just expect others that play it with you to react to the decisions you make accordingly" And that's what we did today.
We at M.Corp strive for a balanced range of pilots that each in their own way add to the M.Corp experience, be that in pvp or in the organisation of our industrial affairs. All this can be achieved while earning a healthy amount for your own personal wallet and mixing in the social aspect of M.Corp. This guy did not fit that bill, and annoyed enough of us sufficiently to do what we did today.
We are not proud of this, and this sort of action rarely happens around here. But oh god it felt good.
s'fair enough tbh, a little sneaky perhaps.

As much as i don't like people who are carebearing while rest of the corp/alliance are dieing because of having smaller numbers, killing them while asking them to help you in anything is lamest thing possible. Kick would be far more apropriate. Imo

If you cant afford to fly around in a CNR and loose it you shouldnt fly it.
EVE is a pvp game, and if your a carebare your living in a PVP'ers world :)
Expect things like this to happen. Why all the fuss over a ship, if he decided to fly that ship in 0.0 thats his own fault. Why by so materialistic, it didnt do **** for him against 3 ships for all its billions did it.
I've lost a couple ships to play fights getting out of hand. The OP should take this as a lesson of what can happen in eve if you only look out for yourself and not your collective alliance's interests. And its why i love eve. |

nah i think he went to go do that to go save face when he decided to stay in M. Corp
And true this may be harsh, but he probably made a lot more off of LV then his entire raven cost, even if he didn't get the mods back. ------------------------------------------------ NEWLY ADDED ON 1/19 (though applies to all posts before ;p)

About as lame as it gets from one of the lamest corps in the game. Regardless if this guys didn't partake in pvp missions and die like the rest of you do, to set him up so you can get an easy gank on his navy raven (and out numbered at that) well i guess thats par for the course for your group Velios especially the nimrods involved in this.
Spin it how ever you like but peoplewho are in M Corp or ever thought about joining should take this post as a guideline, if you want to be a backstabbing lamer then this is the place for you, if not join a real corp (1 that actually can PvP well and not get waxxed everytime odds are below 2 to 1 in their favor....
A real corp would have handled it in a professional manner, booting the guy and telling him to leave, either giving him safe passage out or not but they sure wouldn't pull some bush league crap like this. I have seen and heard some bad stuff about alot of corps in this game,i don;t think i have ever seen anything like this that didn;t have ginger magician's name in it or a story about some corp griefer stealing everything from some unsuspecting player. I know you won;t, but you 3 aholes should be ashamed of yourselves and anyone who flies with you should be just as ashamed
M Corp - Still the only corp I know of that can lose 9 Battleships in an arranged 8 battleship vs 8 Battleship fight
