Nightmarex, it is quite obvious that you held no loyalty to your corp or your alliance, not even your fellow corpmates.

If it is so obvious he had no loyalty, then why did he go and help them in the belt? That's contradictory.
1) LYING to gank a corp member you dont appreciate is weak, very weak.
2) If he was in your corp so long he could have paid for his raven multiple times you really need to look at cleaning the corp out more regularly. It was your fault he was in your corp doing ****all for so long. You need to take responsibility for ensuring the members are being productive.

Well, at first I thought it was lame.. Probably still is a bit lame..
But, People who join alliances with the sole purpose of NPC'ing for themselves and not helping is probably one of the things I hate most about being in an alliance, so I'm happy you and anyone like you got blown up. Would of been nicer if they kicked you *then* blew you up though.

M Corp is like a family. The only way to live in M Corp is to fly M corps way. They might not be the uber pvp'rs in the game but they acheive their goals through teamwork. If you work for M.corp expect to get rewarded if you dont expect to get punished.
Perhaps the way M. killed him was abit lame but I can see why they did it.

Oh sorry Suas, I forgot you occupied the moral high ground, then again you would sympathise with this caldari navy raven flyer being one yourself. I'm frankly suprised at you mate, you know I run a tight ship here but if people mess with me, then I'm gonna mess with them back. I've spent the last 3 years running M.Corp, I hardly think I need a lecture from you.

But thats not the point really.. He came to help someone regardless of why he did it.. he came to help.. They knew he would come and help so they set this up to gank him. Why not just boot him from the corp then go on a man hunt? Why do it this way?

One thing I like about this is that for some reason (most) people are actually saying how they feel, regardless of their corp standings. 
A true rare occurance on these forums.
My opinion: You either gank him and keep the loot or dont do it at all. Ganking the navy raven just for the hell of it is stupid if your gonna give him the loot back. I fail to see how this teaches him any lesson, other than not to trust you guys. About 70% of people who join BE leave or get booted within a couple of months. Unless we found someone to be a spy/thief, there is no way we are going to kill them because they weren't good enough/didn't fit it. Its stooping low and its bad.

its implied when you join, each LV corp is a familiy, a big and rather dysfunctional one, but a familiy none the less.
to be honest, Velios showed his usual charecter by handing back the stuff, i whould not have done that, i whould have flogged it on the open market and used the money to benefit the alliance as a whole.
i whould have frapsed the whole thing too, and put it on our site as a warning to people who think they can reap the rewards of other people's hard work.
the ability to PVP is not a requirement for joining all/any LV corp, loyality and dedication is.

Hey, if they can gank 1 CC battleship then they sure as hell can catch one of their own ex-corp mates living deep in their space in their stations.
Thats the point i was trying to make. If you can catch a single battleship pilot then boot him and catch him as a neutral.. NOT as a corp mate..and NOT in the manner they did.. thats low...

About as lame as it gets from one of the lamest corps in the game. Regardless if this guys didn't partake in pvp missions and die like the rest of you do, to set him up so you can get an easy gank on his navy raven (and out numbered at that) well i guess thats par for the course for your group Velios especially the nimrods involved in this.
Spin it how ever you like but peoplewho are in M Corp or ever thought about joining should take this post as a guideline, if you want to be a backstabbing lamer then this is the place for you, if not join a real corp (1 that actually can PvP well and not get waxxed everytime odds are below 2 to 1 in their favor....
A real corp would have handled it in a professional manner, booting the guy and telling him to leave, either giving him safe passage out or not but they sure wouldn't pull some bush league crap like this. I have seen and heard some bad stuff about alot of corps in this game,i don;t think i have ever seen anything like this that didn;t have ginger magician's name in it or a story about some corp griefer stealing everything from some unsuspecting player. I know you won;t, but you 3 aholes should be ashamed of yourselves and anyone who flies with you should be just as ashamed

velios has a history of crap like this. In the Greatwildands about 6+ months ago, he lead an operation that used a POS bug that allowed you to lock structures inside an online tower and blow them up without taking any damage from the POS or having to shoot the shields. It was a short lived bug after the new 0.0 entrances which moved the location of planets (and messed up towers in some systems near the new 0.0 entrances)
Ask any long time member in [ALTZ] or VIRII about it. He hit up 3-4 POS in one night using that bug.
Lame CEO with very little honor if he thinks he can get away with it. I'll long remember his desparete actions in GW as will many others.

Allthough me and Velios have our own issue...I agree with what he did in that belt.
Personaly, one of biggest frustration for me is when there are guys benefiting from corp and space they leave in, and not giving much to their teammates.
Kick him out of corp....hmm...what good result that might give?, especialy when himself wanted to leave.
Hard lessons are not easely to forgat....and you should thank Velios for what he did to you, tbh (with killing your ship, not with giving you back those items)

If people leech off your corp and don't join ops, you should just kick em on the first offence, not gank em after they finally want to leave. Since he was just a carebear though, I really don't care ..

Well that was a lame way to solve a problem. So what if he didn't contribute in pvp? It is the leaders role to help the members to work towards a common goal, not to kill them if they are lost. By the looks of it it's the recruiter and leaders fault that nightmare wasn't the corpmember you wanted but you still take it out on him. This was truly a ***** move.

No, I don't kick people on the first offence. I am tolerant and do my best to motivate people to take an interest in the corp and the activities that happen there.
After weeks of evasion evasion and then a foolish alliance post stating his wishes to join ATUK just so he can hunt a different variety of NPC I had had enough.
And promptly killed him. |
