He used to have AOL, but the fscked summin up and when he moved the phone line, the moved the AOL connection to the new address instead of to his gf's address. Wait, thety did move the connection, cause she can connect, they just moved a marker to our line, for no apprent reason. So like yeah, they deined there was anything wrong, BT was saying there wasn't any thing wrong, etc etc. Ofcom ftw! Just a bit of advice to anyone, if you are trying to setup a new ADSL line and they ISP is saying they can't cause there is currently a service running on the line, but they can't tell you what it is cause BT Wholesale won't tell them what it is, just phone Ofcom, they give you a ref number and a number to call BT with and everythin then get sorted, it will save you all a headache. Swethren Been there, done that. Signed with BT Internet and had a 10K connection that they said was a perfectly working 2mb connection. I showed them the proof and after 2 weeks of promising to get it sorted, I told them to disconnect it and went to another ISP instead. Still took 2 weeks for them to remove the BT internet token from the line so the other ISP could take over. I originally organised it so I could move in and use the intternet within a week. End result was over a month with no internet I feel for you Rells, I know how hard it was for me to last whole month without being able to log in. --

I took me ages to get used to not having it. I was halfway through some programming project and hit a deadspot. Raealised I needed some advice on how to get around a problem and automatically loaded IE then realised I wasn't even connected yet --
