Phoenix Pryde	Posted - 2006.03.31 18:07:00 - [1] Today afternoon TRUST's heavy industry works completed manufacturing of our first mothership. The initial logistics efforts were challenging, the manufacturing process worked out better then expected though. Only at the launch itself the operators of the capital maintenance array faced some software problems which could however be resolved. The Nyx class vessel has been offered publically on the TRUST shop since the shop's launch. The first order soon followed by one of our customers. Shadowsword	Posted - 2006.04.07 18:11:00 - [58] There may be several reasons for this attack: - They could have learned that TRUST was building a mothership for G, and tried to steal it. - They could (in fact, that's nearly certain) have wanted a large player-gathering event where they could show off their Dreads and logistic capacity, to flatter their ego. - Stealing an Outpost and a load of large POS with their modules is one hell of a lot cheaper than building one in the first place, and EC is a nice strategic location for anyone wanting lots of kills with a Shoot-Them-All policy.

And with "control the availability" I mean "Hog it". If they can't take/buy/control the BPOs, they'll try to limit the means of manufacturing the products of those BPOs.

Yes, they could have bought from TRUST, but they had no need to - and as such, TRUST capital production was only ever going to benefit their enemies. It also let them properly deploy their capital fleet, which must've been nice, but which has probably put a stopper on them getting another chance in the near future.
