I've heard there's a secret to EVE that's been hard coded into the client. Somehow EVE is able to reward players who are drinking beer while playing. I had doubted this until I gave it a shot.
What was amazing was that the more I drank while playing EVE the better lewt I got !!! Not only that but the picture site I visit inbetween jumps also had a plethora of large boobies posted at teh same time!
Now we must ask, which beer is the key to the unlock these hakoz?

Beer choice should be determined by what you intend to do.
Guinness or a similar stout is good if you intend on marathoning EVE, perhaps in a gate camp, for 24+ hours without sleep or other food sources.
German beers are an excellent choice when planning for PvP encounters against Gallente enemies. The French-decended Gallente will sense that you have been imbued with l33t power by drinking the beer of their perpetual conquers, and will likely pod themselves rather than fight against you.
Canadian beers, which have been designed for drinking while on long, boring treks through mostly uninhabited wilderness where the only danger is getting attacked by a large grizzly bear, are the perfect choice for long, boring treks through mostly uninhabited low-sec space where the only danger is getting ganked by a wandering battleship.
American beer should only be consumed if your objective is to become sufficiently inebriated that you can annoy your corp mates/everyone else in chat or Teamspeak.

LOL...there are plenty of very fine American Beers...it's just that none of them are made by Anheuser-Busch or Miller or Coors or whatever other mass-produced garbage brewer Americans tend to drink.
The better American beers are every bit as good as their European counterparts. It's a fact.

I'm not arguing that some American beers are quite good. Considering that I'm also a "Yank" born and bred, and live in Washington state, it'd be a hard argument to make. However, I think that when most non-Americans think of American beer, they think Budweiser/Miller/Coors. They don't think Red Hook, Fat Tire, or Henry Weinhard.

However for good microbrewery pub beer, I'd have to buy a laptop and play EVE in a bar somewhere.... Sadly I'm not ready for that commitment to EVE...

Bud, Miller, Coors etc are all crap and 90% of americans know it. They are just cheap which is why people still buy the crap. Anything from Sierra Nevada, Redhook, Firestone, Fat tire etc. is usually good in the U.S. Semi-micro to micro brewery selection. But i also enjoy Stella, Chimay, Newcastle, and especially Guinness from time to time. Not knockin the european beers at all there are some greats, just sayin don't discount the good american beers if you haven't tried them. The great thing about beer is trying somthing new... which is why i keep it global

To the OP:
I have found the following to be of great help when mining or cruising through low sec. I am a Yank but I have a penchant for Brit beers. I went to school in Scotland briefly, and I haven't been the same since.
1. Boddington's Pub Ale (Big Bee Can w a Nitrogen Widget)
2. Newcastle Brown (Newky Brown)
3. Victoria Bitter (a half assed Aussie convict favorite)
Go for the Newcastle Brown, it's like syrup. It'll F-you up real quick. However, the Boddington's has a nice creamy texture and is great with a packet of crisps. (chips.)
Cheers

1. PBR- For those nights when you simply feel like being a dirty cheap bastard. A "Dirty Thirty" (case of 30 cans) is generally the way to go.
2. Red Tail Ale (Mendocino Brewing- My favorite brewer EVER!) A fine choice when you would prefer to skip around in your flashy faction ship with nothing but the most premium of mods attached.
3. Country Club 40oz. (If you know this beer, then you'll understand) For when you and some friends do a T1 frig operation with nothing but generic gear. Everyone should definitely bring their own, as 40's and sharing simply DON'T MIX!
4. Dutch or German beers- For when you want to smell like a skunk.

German Koelsch is good (although it's a little difficult to get hold of in Leeds unless you go to HiFi regularly) . . . stop looking at me like that.
And then proper stuff - Black Sheep, Old Peculiar, Bishops Finger.
And my favorite beer - The Cornish Blonde. Ah... happy days.
Unfortunately the only thing beer boosts in Eve is your charisma attribute. Which, unless you're planning on training all the trade/leadership skills, isn't really that helpful.
Interesting times await... |

The perfect beer with Eve, hmmm depends on what I have bottled recently and has aged properly. Anything from a 6% Ale to a 12% Barley Wine, just depends on the result you want The perfect beer is any so long as I've made it
