TQ is down due to a network issue with Level 3 and NOT Eve, that is why some people cannot connect. So leave those TS people alone ;)

You guys should really go Train Basic Networking Lv 1 ;). Try commands like tracert and whois from cmd.exe before screaming on the forums. EVE servers are probably hosted in ICELAND according to their registry, so traffic has to go through Level 3.

The game servers are in England, but some of the webservers are in Iceland. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What the hell? L3 still down? Did someone forget to feed the hampsters running their power supply? Fortune 500 company, you'd think that they would have their junk up and running within a reasonable time. God knows they make enough money......

Last bit of the trace down to Eve: 4.68.116.75 195.50.91.22 87.237.38.199 87.237.38.200
4.68.116.75 is an L3 addressed hop in the middle of a bunch of other L3 hops. You can expect that to be one of L3's nodes. 195.50.91.22 is an L3 addressed hop as well. 87.237.38.199 is registered to CCP. If you assume that they followed standard procedure for addressing the WAN link, 195.50.91.22 is more than likely the IP address on the WAN interface of CCP's border router at their data center. CCP's WAN link to L3 is probably up and working fine if you're getting down to that IP address before the traces die. Given that people seem to be talking about partial connectivity, I personally suspect the issue was related to CCP's BGP announcements to L3 (or something else down the line affecting those announcements). If that were the case, you'd have connectivity down to 195.50.91.22 but not see the 87.237.32.0 block.
In short, it might not be necessary to shoot L3 - it might not even be their problem.
