Genius! What a great reason to use on carebears for blowing up their ships. We're preserving Nature ======================= The Establishment is at your service...

2006.04.05 20:46:35 combat Templar belonging to Ign0raMus barely misses you.
Was I the first person to be fired upon by this great behemoth that you have constructed?
At first, I thought, "Oh no, they've got themselves a shiny new toy and the first thing they are gonna do with it is come out wipe out a load of NPC'ers and their POS's who have nothing to do with them...."
Fortunately for us, that didn't happen; although it has got me wondering about this game again...
Congrats on the acheivement anyways. It must have been extremely painful for such a small corp to invest in such a big thing.

Just to note her first kill was a Megathron Class Battleship during her first day of operation.

Your most welcome Too bad I missed getting some fraps of it due to being stuck at a POS in an indy waiting for a hostile -LV- fleet to go away
Seems everyone wants to pick on the peacefull little carebear industrial alliance lame
p.s. That was a nice little collection of faction ships you showed up in. & don't let anyone critisize that beautifull gallente masterpiece, anyone that thinks gallente ships are ugly obviously hasn't seen those scrapheaps the minmatar call ships, wich btw we won't be able to build any minmatar carriers for awhile, we havn't found a large enough supply of tin foil, popsicle sticks, & duct tape

What is a mothership going to do to a POS? Assign fighters? Its not a seige weapon.

Why should this concern them? Nyx is uneffected by any type of EW, so she can jump out even with 100 points of scrambling, and I assume intredictor bubble cant stop it from jumping either?
Anyway, congratz :) hopefully we will find out soon enough how to destroy Nyx class carriers
Obviously this requires testing, but it seems logical that the only way to scramble a ship that does not allow ECM to be activated upon it is to do it passively with interdictors or warp bubbles. Those means of warp scrambling are not technically ECM and they cannot even normally be countered by stabs etc.
I guess G or Establishment will have to let us know if bubbles stop them.

Yea we have yet to test passive scrambling on them. Still even if it does work a good officer Smart Bomb should take care of that problem rather nicely

Well they are slow buggers, you might not be able to travel the 10km to get into SB range :p.

Due to its rather odd shape, I think the smart bombs have a very strange area of effect that in some directions exceeds its normal range limitations. Im not 100% sure but I can swear blind that when I had to get rid of some pests earlier that the smart bomb hit somoene suposedly out of my range.
Guess this is another thing i'll need to investigate

Home is a kinda redundant term with a mothership.
I seriously doubt that the Nyx will be engaging without an exit route?

You don't need many exit strategies against pods

As ridiculously huge overkills go, that's a pretty good one. Gatecamping in the thing? Or maybe even belt piracy? One thing that definitely caught my attention there was the mobility. You covered some serious distance there in a hurry, Placid to Derelik in one evening.
