EVE Search - Is it normal to get scammed by The Mittani, Chairman of CSM ???

By the way, CSM are just players who communicate with the devs, not CCP employees bound by a code of ethics. They do have ingame restrictions, like following NDA and not trying to profit off future changes to the game. (For example, if Mittani knew that, say, Scrap Metal was suddenly going to be made to refine into Megacyte , and he bought up a **** ton of Scrap Metal to sell, he would get banned.)

Making a profit off overtrusting people with too much ISK however... that's fair game.

It just occurred to me that this thread only found its way into C+P after several pages, and that this post was on the first page; and, yet, Admiral Thrawn is still here, a dozen pages later, not getting the message. At this point I don't think there is any real point in repeating the same thing over and over to him; either he is a troll, or he simply refuses to believe that the game could be run this way; or, some other explanation beyond my ken exists for which I feel no shame being unable to fathom or even consider. Ever the optimist, I will try one more time to connect with the dear space admiral: no rules were broken in your hypothetical allegation; this thread shall serve no purpose but to provide goons and our friends a reason to post and to "like," each other's posts here on spacebook; and, hopefully, neither you nor anyone else reading this thread will take away any reasonable knowledge from it because as Dear Leader kindly noted we are presently having a newbie recruitment drive on Something Awful and we don't want our poor newbies to go hungry because people suddenly smartened up after years of falling for the same scams.

I don't get your the message, you don't get mine. We live in different worlds therefore we cannot agree on this subject. I don't scam people, not in game, not in real life. That's how I am. I got scammed, my bad for trusting a scumbag. End of story.

I hope some other players benefit by reading this post and won't get scammed, at least not the way I was.

CSM is a bunch of players that have written CSM on their avatar...At least I got that right.
