Is there a command or way to clear chat text from the CORP or LOCAL windows? And before you say close and recreate them - not an option on those. Unless you know of a way to do that to. Any help appreciated.

Why would you need to clear the text in them in the first place? But no there are no such command that I know of.

No way that I know of, except for actually logging out of the game and re-starting (don't know why you would need to clear the chat though anyway)
Interesting sidebar though, If you go digging into the Eve folder in widnows, it keeps track of ALL your in game chat via Notepad files (probally how it saves them in game as well). you MIGHT be able to clear your chat box by deleting the contents of these files, but not 100% sure. Haven't tried it, haven't wanted to.

Thanks for the replies thats pretty much what I thought. The reason is I have a big local window open to see who is in system occasionally and I'd like to remove all the old chat from hours ago so I can tell what is going on recently. Put in a more direct manner - personal preference.

On a related note, is there a list of chatbox commands somewhere?
Silly CCP didn't give us a /? or /help command.

They where supposed to introduces /? a patch or 2 ago, not sure why it never happend. But as far as I know there are no / commands other than /me left for general usage. All others are for GM/ISD use only.
