TRUST hands Viribus Unitis to ISS.
TRUST built this outpost to be a beacon for the public, and to service all public in the region of Pure Blind. ISS's neutrality is accepted universewide and unquestioned. Acknowledging that we think that ISS will be able to manage the EC-P8R Outpost in the spirit it was meant to be run. ISS will manage it like their other outpost as a public outpost under the ISS charter.
The transfer of ownership from TRUST to ISS will take place as soon as game mechanics allow it.
ISS will create a business plan for the station and sell shares as a business opportunity to the Eve-community, as soon as time allows.

One question, What if BoB wants it?
If BoB cant take the outpost then surely this is like one of those times when you spend all night buying a girl drinks, only for her to not put out?

And to further discount the claim that they are no longer neutral:
- The no-docking list from our other outposts will be applied with immediate effect in Cassini. This means that BoB, among others, will not have docking rights to the station due to their repeated violations of our system wide no-fire zones in the other ISS outpost systems.
So if ISS was aligned with BoB, ASCN and all that jazz, wouldn't that mean they would, say, LIKE each other? Maybe let each other dock around?
ISS is still neutral. To decline this opportunity would be a stupid move, and potentially seen as them taking sides. I think people on the whole should stop trying to over-analyze everything.
Once they officially "got" it from the original owner its fine with most of ppl and with me too, but thing is that in the day that passed between the announcement about them getting it from bob "with no real choise", and to this announcement, they already made plan how to make cash from it, and still plan it. worst part - they keep lying with bull**** that the money is needed for POSes..

Bottom line is that they should have made things right with TRUST *before* announcing their grand plans that tarnished their image. In the end, TRUST basically bailed ISS out and went along with the plan, effectively killing much of the backlash towards iSS from the general EVE populous, as well as any potential retribution from BoB for not following their orders.

Maybe ... and this could be fact
They had to give BoB an immediate answer and were confident that they could make all parties happy for the good off Eve.
Maybe its a simple decision .... a Military Outpost for "no one" or a Neutral Outpost and everyone happy ....

Will T R U S T stay in ec-p and re-deploy their fleets of POS's? Since your main business is t2 and capital ships it doesnt seem like giving up this outpost up will effect your business in any real way. Potentially re-deploying your capital ship yards in a system that is claimed by ISS who's "neutrality is accepted universewide and unquestioned" would make it a bit more of a PR nightmare for an agressor if it ever got attacked again.

Well if someone came along and seigied it for a week with 600 people again (which seems to be the only way you can do these things effectively with 30 large POS) ISS would be rather flattered that a a public trade outpost with no refining or Capital Ship arrays was attracting so much attention.
With regard to the ISK from the share issue.... just *think* about it for a moment, will you. Think about the sequence of events - BoB hand over to ISS, ISS hand over to TRUST, TRUST hand over to ISS again. It doesnt take an above average IQ to work it out.

You are not in a position to be informed about this, obviously.
OK, BoB gave us the idea, but don't forget BoB left system, then reset thier standings. 5 left system, and the remaining ASCN got driven off. The realistic odds of another similar attack were therefore close to zero. So Trust retook the outpost immediately that it was safe to do so, and we cold have held it again. I wonder why the handover then? I wouldn't assume that it was any kind of "threat" that motivated it were I you.
And in an aside, the moons in EC-P8R are pants, can't make much with whats there, even though there are 60 moons to choose from.

Actually I did my share of moon scanning for the alliance, and its true, I am sorry :) let me rephrase it:
You can pick 30 not Barren moons, and while not complete T2 chain, it would generate enough minerals to significantly reduce the costs.
Now that should be more correct :) ---------------------------------------------- All my posts are my own opinions and dont not represent any organization until stated otherwise. |

lol, you misunderstood my point: I am not on about wether or not u make some profit or cut costs, but rather the fact u said the fund rising is needed to cover the cost of running 30 large POS - which isnt true, and to me seems like a blatant lie to possible investors.
I mean, its a healthy practice to tell the truth of where the money goes to if we invest. but thats just me and what I believe is right, maybe thats not how ISS do business?

That wouldn't be a bad strategy but ASCN is going to have them out of the oven unless BoB were going to start on them very soon (which I don't see happening), so to some extent that idea has to be thrown out the window.

As has been shown in the past, having ships and being able to use them properly (translated - they don't explode all the time) are two different things.
Motherships are the next, great step in the evolution of EVE warfare. One has to have the logistics to support these massive machines as well, not to mention replacing them if they are lost. BoB has already shown they can do these things. The smart move is to make sure no one else can, thus ensuring thier continued dominance of space. -

We tried to discuss this in London, but he was drunk and I was losing my voice due to all the smoke in the air. I think we just ended up confusing each other. This was also after Stan and I had a rather animated discussion about the merits of dice and poker cards and which pwnd the other in terms of alliance / corp logos. In the end, BL and I gave up and just decided to just do something vile and pose with Shin Ra for a pic. -

They are the true power! BOB was hired to kill trust, and get the outpost to ISS, next will be the BLUE guys.
Or maybe Bob is just going to PWN anyone with the ability to build Motherships other than themselves?
Well by your account ASCN would have to either not know how to use them or BoB would have to destroy them in the process of taking out ASCN's production facilities.
In either case, it doesn't really seem to fit into the idea that BoB's strategy ought to be to be the only ones who have them. The only way it works on that front is if BoB is purchasing all of ASCN's production line and I don't see that coming to full effect.

In the end, BL and I gave up and just decided to just do something vile and pose with Shin Ra for a pic.
I want a copy of the pick so I can... erm... use it for less than questionable means :)

Er, just a quick note, the ASCN fiasco happened like 20 minutes before the scheduled end of the northern operation. After the initial gang bang, ASCN forces then regained control of EC, cleaned up and then left, per the predetermined end of the northern operation.
This isn't saying G+Friends didn't jump in and catch a whole lot of people sleeping, and give them a right proper spanking, I just object to the term "driven off" as that's not entirely accurate, that's all. :D
Carry on.
