By the way guys, they get really mad when we use Eve terminology. Can someone go ahead and make a Star Citizen wiki, but instead of the terms they want us to use, make those secondary terms to Eve's. For example, high sec, tackling, awox, etc.
I'd love if new players start using phrases such as "haha, that ganker got Concorded," with SC bitterbackervets raging over the terminology that gets accepted by the broad playerbase.

Really, and what happens when one or more of your crew has worse latency than you (often), loses connection to the server (also common), or a bug pops up that puts a crew out of sync with each other and the ship?

I thought the same. When they move threads to "off topic" only people who give them cash can post. You can probably still post in most sections. They only allow one forum account. If you make 2, they will ban them all and ask you to pick the one you want to use.
So far none of the ones who quit Eve with lots of assets are willing to log back in and give me all their stuff.

Yeah, even their forums are pay to win. I've seen contracts in Jita local that are less obvious scams than what they've got going on.

yea I was scratching my head that too. Like running a fleet is not hard enough, each ship will have to micromanage its 'crew' this game sounds more and more crazy/scammy |

The majority of the players who are yammering on about this multi-person crewed ship of death idea are people who couldn't even hack it in highsec in eve. And if weve learned one thing about highsec, getting people to band together and cooperate in the first place is like herding cats. Team that with the latency and bug issues mentioned above.... and we have a recipe for hilarity.
Join us, and help bring a slice of New Eden to these poor unfortunate souls.

I bought a rust bucket for like $45 and added $10 for some extra credits. You have to look at the package details to see if it includes alpha and beta access. As tempting as it was to spend 10 grand to get more internet spaceships and blueprints, I passed on that.

Mining overwatch is the most boring job of all time.
They also seem to think that miners will be incredibly rich and will be able to pay for all of the abobve and have no understanding of how a real economy works.
i.e. lots of big bank balances = inflation which serves to keep them space poor or space average.

I think they have a 30 dollar package as well. The ship stats look like monkey butt, but hey, when youre playing Hangar Offline, its worth it just to bring a slice of GD to GC.
