Harpy. Definitely the best. And the Crusader is a close second.
The Coercer and Heretic also look great, amost as good as the Crusader.

Got to give love to my most recent Geddon 'Pillar of Autumn', also to my vengeace (which is soo prettier than the carthum peice o crap). Ashimmu is the sexiest of all ships everm, though I'd like to see one without all the blood, maybe after it's been washed and waxed

The cormorant/flycatcher.
Sleeker than a ferox but still has that look of "I pwn all". Its a damn sexy ship.
Thorax looks like a sex toy. Megathron just makes me think of optimus prime.

Vigilant is my favourite ship at the moment, just like a better thorax and more versatile due to the extra mid-slot. And it looks even cooler

Ok, so ...
Scariest looking ships
1 Raven ... that thing gives me the shivers up close from the stench of death by a murderous stack of cruise missiles
2 Armageddon ... for the sinking feeling when you know you're going to get megapulse II'd right where the sun don't shine
3 Deimos ... the camo reeks of 'predator' and the rather nasty sight of one MWDing towards me is rather worrying.
Favourite ships
1 Brutix - Hulking steroid filled armoured cathedral looks for the win (or not, as the case often is)
2 Megathron - Someone said it reminds them of Optimus Prime. I rather think it looks a little like Soundwave, Megatron's faithful, but personalityless sidekick [but still an awsome transformer, even if he did turn into a casette based walkman]
3 Ishkur - the glowing twin pod 'thingies' at the front give it a cybertron / knight rider look [but in green]
Leat favourite ships
1 Celestis - The flying lobster meets road accident
2 Dominix - Millions of years of evolution of the spermatoza produces ... the blob of death
3 Moa - Sort of the 'Chicken Missile' of the EVE universe
I love loads of the ship designs apart from these, but I'm going to mention the Catalyst for reminding me of the millenium falcon after being stretched ...

My favorite ship is a vengeance. Its total crap, and i hardly ever got to fly one becsaue nobody will let me bring it on StateOps, but given half a chance i'll take one for a spin.
I actually own LOADS of the things, just because i love them so much.

For looks and lvl3 mission pwnage, i love the typhoon most of all. It has the looks of a battlestar, more than the other battleships. And drones, guns AND missiles, what more can a captain want out of his ship?
Second place goes to the zealot, just for looks, and third place to the trasher, for same reason (tho running lvl1 missions with it shure was fun)

The most favorite would have to be.... The Domi because it is unbeatable in 1vs1 combat.. and that and understatement. unless your facing a Dread or Carrier

Impaling n00b ships on and toastin' em at the nearest star...  Not that I'd do that, I'd probably be owned by every ibis from here to Pator.
I think it looks like a VW Beetle with a jousting lance....yeah that's it, it's for jousting. 
I'm really attached to mine; I've had a lot of fun with it.
Just got my first Thorax and I have to say I like it the best. I do think the Apocalyse is cool looking too.
Oh yes, and hi, I'm new. Been playing for about 3 weeks and having fun.

I like:
Heron - not a very useful frigate but it just looks so cool.
Raven - as others have said, this ship looks like a killer. It's got built-in menace.
Megathron - Has anyone seen Star Blazers? Can I mount a Wave Motion Gun in this bad boy?
Amarr Navy Slicer - this is the most bad-ass looking hot rod mankind has ever seen. All the sleek lines of an Executioner (and then some) while still tougher than a Punisher.

Geddon is the ship that looks most impressive I think. As for flying, my favourite ship is the Helios, although it's usually invisible .
