That's Dark Horse's fault then... It will be sold on Google books in June if you want to wait until then. Along with other major ebook providers, and of course as a hardcover. Or you can get it for free now by signing up to Dark Horse. Such is the burden of our modern lives!
Excellent stuff, cheers! |

yep not loading for me in IE11, Chrome 33.0.1750.91 beta-m, Firefox 27
I am disappoint that there is no PDF or CBR/CBZ archive available, I understand Dark Horse doesn't want to make it easy for people to copy it... i guess I was just hoping it would be free forever (in which case it'd make sense to allow downloads) Little Things to improve GëíGïüGëí-á| My Little Things posts |

Loaded otherwise fine, except page 14 lower half failed to load and page 15 took longer time to load. As my old maths teacher used to say: "Statistics are like bikinis: It's what they don't show that's interesting". -CCP Aporia |

Edit: It downloaded successfully on Android. Pity my screen's tiny :) For those that download it free now, it will stay on their devices, even after they start charging for it. |

I sign into the website, click "read now" and I get this http://i.imgur.com/hWj1Do9.png
Refreshing doesn't fix it. I also downloaded the android app on my nook color. Searching for "eve" or "eve true stories" doesn't show anything. |

Page 14 is actually a double-page spread. Load it up without using max width and you'll see it's got the same vertical height as all the other pages but double the width. An in-character blog and a video: http://verinsjournal.blogspot.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tu1mbsgo738

It finally loaded up and I read it. I gotta say, first thing I thought when I finished it was that if there's going to be four equal-sized books to this story, it's not going to be as deep as I'd like it to be. The Eve universe and it's history can really lend itself to some Watchmen-esque deep psychology, philosophy and social commentary. I know that's setting the bar a little high, comparing it to Watchmen, but aiming high is kind of the whole point of Eve's development.
Eve is populated by very intelligent people, so the writing really doesn't have to hold anything back. I realize that this is only part one and it's only at the stage where it's, well, setting the stage, but looking at the number of pages used versus the amount of story, I just don't think you can go very deep before running out of pages.
I do love the artwork so far, and the consistency of how a person looks when inside the pod, surrounded by displays, when compared to how it looks in recent trailers. I'll leave the argument of 'that's not how it works in the old canon' for someone else.
If it's still possible, I'd strongly recommend giving the story a lot more pages and really aiming for a smart reader. |

Cant wait to read more stories how everyone should suck goonswarms deez. Problem with True Stories initiative was that almost all stories come from null sec alliances who unsurprisingly can ring up a lot more people to vote on their stories. Also it is interesting how killing BoB was somehow GS's doing when it was a single disgruntled director who decided to **** his alliance over. |

CCP t0rfifrans wrote:Jessica Danikov wrote:Is it me, or did you just write alts into canon with the last page? Well spotted, sir. Alts are a part of this story, so yes they had to be explained! I'm not sure how I feel about this. Or even if I can entirely comprehend the implications.
So we've gone all Deadpool-like 'kick down the fourth wall' with EVE lore? That's a retcon of Star Trek reboot alternate timeline proportions, isn't it?
Are we now assuming that within the lore, one single consciousness controls multiple EVE personalities? Basically we're all Empyrean Age's Broker? That hurts to even think about from an RP perspective. I'm going to need a lot of Scotch to make this sink in I think.
