was wandering if anyone could show me good sniper set up for raven.I would prefer 2 set ups one with low skills needed and another of the set up i should be aiming for thank you in advance.

they have not brought modules ingame that give missile velocity and explosion velocity and that sug things

This setup has been known to pop TomB from 500 km away.

you can hit 250km away with cruise missiles.
doesn't work on players though, because they will warp off during the flight time

despite the obvious "i wonder what that raven is doing sitting so far away" and the "what are those big missile shaped blobs?" thoughs that this would entail, i believe you still get red boxes when firing passively targetted

Raven as a sniper doesnt work. Unless the target has brain damage or sleeping on the keyboard, you wont get any kills.

why dont u get a scorpion and make urself usefull @ long range in gangs. u can perfectly jam people from 120KM+wit low skill even more with high skillz.
2 sensor booster 6x ecm 2x multispectral 4x racial (each race one)

sadly missiles are not an ideal sniper wepon due to the time it takes for missiles to hit the target at long range the oinly other alternative is to use railguns

0km removes time till target and increases dps by doing so =) its generally the ravens most effective range unless of course your fighting an apoc =)

normal torps will go to about 120km with maxed skills and if you use tech 2 javelin torps they will go ~360km
low skills would be-
6x cruise launchers
2x remote armor repairers
2x sensor boosters 4x dampeners or ECM
2x stabs or 1600 plates and 2x dmg mods 1x medium armor repairer
skills-
6x siege ll
2x remote armor reps
2x sensor booster
4x ecm or dampeners
2x dmg mods 2x wcs or 1600 plates 1x medium armor repairer
these setups work best if 3 or 4 of you have the same setups warp in at 100+km lock and dampen targets so they cant lock you and kill them fast. if you are taking dmg warp out to a safe spot and repair yourself and repair the others in your gang with the remote armor repairers. warp back in and repeat.

they are good gang setups. the setup i normally use is.
6x cruise launcher ll
2x heavy nos
xl booster ll
3x invul field ll
sensor booster ll
large cap injector
3x bcu ll
1x co-processor ll
1x pdu ll or rcu ll
or
6x siege launcher ll
2x target painter ll
xl booster ll
2x invul field ll
large cap injector
4x bcu ll
co-processor ll
1st setup i use precision cruise at 120km brilliant for killing af's inties and hacs
2nd setup is a crazy short range setup that allows a raven to do 1000dps without drones counted rage torps do 1250 dmg each and with maxed skill you have a 7.72sec rof. crap against anything smaller than a battleship

could also achieve 250km with maxed regular cruise missles. let along the long range ones.
but the shadow of flight time hangs over us .. a raven is no solo sniper, could be very effective with a tackler tho. get sentr-tanked domi/poc to web+scram for you, wouldnt hurt if he had some smart bombs too!

Using sniping tactics on a raven might actually not be too bad of an idea, especially for gate camps. With a handful of sniping ravens and just one BC or something to that extent to tackle.
