OK guys if any of you are coming and you are 100% sure about it can you please contact me either post on here or contact me on coldfront #Tokyo over the next 24 hours or so.
i need to work out rough numbers for the hotel to get us a rate, if your not sure say so. id rather have 20 or 30 people say they may come and not turn up than have the hotel be exptecting 50+ people booking.

also just been informed while we are there its international talk like a pirate day, thats on the 19th of sep (wed) so im having a word with a bar i know near the hotel to have a pirate evening there. fancy dress of course ARGGGHHHH

ok in simple terms for a room your looking at around about ú1000 for the two weeks but that all depends on the room type of course.
as for food,beer and general spending money its really down to how hard your going to party, but for a rough idea budget for ú100 a day (yes its a lot but its better to have to much then to little at the end of the day).
http://www.metropolitan.jp/this is the hotel so have a gander at there site and check out there prices for an acurate idea.

Heck yea! I've lived in the tokyo area for 4 years. I will deffenitaly be there. And I can show some people around the clubs in ripponge(if my wife lets me). Which gaspanic are you going to? The one in yokohama closed down btw. Nice choice of hotel to. Thats in the middle of tokyo. For the info of others- Ripponge is the famous club district, Harajuku is the goth area(it should still be kinda warm but maybe lots of rain), Shinjuku is more rave or hip-hop clubs(for the more "serious" partier, and Akihabara is the electronics capitol. There is alot of things to see and do around tokyo. I've been here for years and i'm still finding out new things. I will be checking back here if anyone has questions feel free to ask I'll do my best to answer them.

sorry for the lack of updates guys been a tad busy with work and real life 
anyways the gatherings still on, and its all startuing to happen as far as people booking instead of just chattering about booking 
as for whats going on over the two weeks its still a tad up in the air untill we get a bit closer, there will be a couple of nights out down roppongi and to gas panic (happy hour thursday), and the TGS visit will be happening and also a fancy dess party on international talk like a pirate day (19th september).
as for you guys in tokyo who are up for offering help shoot me a email to [email protected] and il get back to you or drop on coldfront irc and have a chat.
