Seems like it is just what the game was designed for, massive user co-operation. It makes mining a seasonal activity, like farming. January thru March is winter for the miner. Time to do research or play the market or go into production. The players are shaping the game as much as the game is shaping the players, and that is a good thing. You all are TERRIBLE people for doing this to poor people who work so hard to get enough isk for those hulks from mining those measly high sec asteroids. Shame on you. You internet deviants should get a life.
Now, while I'm hoping all the carebears are just reading the first part of my post so that they'll still trust me, I'm going to go buy a few hulks for when the prices skyrocket. Thanks again for the opportunity hulkageddoners. |

Ideally what I'd like to say to mining pilots is "dont get mad, get even."
But unfortunaltey due to a player bounty system that has been abusable and broken for such a long time, it seems the gankers have more possibilities to easily hide away from any effective player policing system. |

No it doesn't. Try building anything bc and above (or bulk frigs to cruisers) from reprocessed mission loot. Fight them until turmoil is no more and strike terror into their hearts. |

Lets make this easy for some of you.
If access to materials is hindered, less building happens. If little or no building happens, then prices go up. If prices go up, you pay more to buy stuff. If you pay more to buy stuff, you buy more plexes with real life cash (cuz missioning isnt going to suply all the isk you need to pvp, etc) and keep the EVE gods happy that you are the lemmings they want you to be.
The balance of supply and demand isnt that hard to understand. Fight them until turmoil is no more and strike terror into their hearts. |

I have been following the thread and though some think that the killing of transport type ships is fun, it should be considered that there are some of us who haul stuff because it can be relaxing.
I haul regular contract cargoes, nothing too complicated or expensive. I have seen some of the down right silly ganker contracts that demand high ISK collateral and accordingly avoid them for good reason.
I am a relatively new player and it can be a pain when some idiot out of the blue blows a ship and pod kills for nothing more than the so called satisfaction of having a kil stat.
Some think that by driving up the prices there will be greater satisfaction in the game. I beg to differ. It harms the newer players still starting out. Before one harps that it is part of the game, there are some things to consider.
Though it might help the economy in the short term, in the long term it can have far reacing effects.
Removing bots which might be operating is a goal it is those like me who manually fly our lowly cargo vessels that end up getting the worst end of it.
It would be interesting to see what would happen if the hauler community decided for a period of two weeks not to move ANY cargos or materials.
Hope all of you remember the actions one takes can have far reaching effects that go far beyond the Sec Rate.

I am almost 7 months into the game. I tried most of the other games first. For me, EVE is the most challenging and satisfying game I have played thus far, precisely because it is hard, challenging, has a steep learning and investment curve. EVE is not for the casual player, there are no children here, EVE is for the dedicated player who wants more from a game. Honestly, if EVE had not kicked my arse during the trial then I never would have paid for it, much less still be here and now deeply involved. I would hope that you are still here in the future after finding your way through the fog of being new.
EDIT: I am a dedicated miner, I avoid combat. "I don't want barges to have a viable tank, because I want to gank those when hulkagaddon rolls by in half a month." See? Doesn't telling the truth make you feel better? --áGoose99 |

Then we would just take our hauler/industrial alts and move the **** ourselves, the only reason the hauler community gets any business is because for most of eve its easier ,cheaper and way way less boring to pay someone else to do it.
Or some members of the hauler community with a few more braincells than you would decide to throw you a big '**** right off' and make a killing while all the others sit on their hands for the sake of some idiotic moral crusade. Thats of course doing you the courtesy of assuming you could even get them to listen to you in the first place.
So in summary, if youre a troll well done you got a bite, have a ******* biscuit. On the off chance you really are this stupid please engage that lump of meat between your ears for more things than reminding you you need to breath once in a while. |

My my my...
A bit cranky are ya...
I make enough ISK to get by and still enjoy the universe too.
Perhaps you got short changed on a contract... When I lost my two contract hauls I explained to the owners what happened they were understanding and wanted the names of the ones that ganked me.
I was happy to provide and did so.
If I get ganked again while providing a cargo haul, I'll do the same again and hopefully someone will get podded nicely back to the iceage...
Have a nice day.

Yeesh....4 posts ago you were warning of the apocalyptic, far-reaching consequences of ganking haulers.....and now you hope people gank you so you can go tattle to the contract owners and hope they have the balls to do something about it....
Real consistent there pal.... I don't log in - I don't need to. My very existence griefs people. They see my name, and they instinctively fill with rage and indignation. Deny it all you want - but if you didn't care, you wouldn't have posted, would you? |

Well congrats to you Eddie for exploiting peoples laziness, slightly spoiled by your utter lack of ability to actually do anything to cause these horrendous consequences you are so certain will happen. Friendly note - Crying to mommy hoping she'll fix it for you doesnt count by the way. |
